Flew into Providence for a convention, drove to Georges and had the best steamed clams with a order of fried whole belly clams. Just can't get enough of their fresh sea food.

We had a large pre-graduation party with people with varied tastes and food preferences and everyone found something to eat and really enjoyed themselves, the service and the food. Firecracker shrimp and stuffed quahogs were delicious. The fried scallops were lightly fried and not at all greasy. Beignets and chocolate cake were a big hit for dessert. We would definitely... While staying in Rhode Island had the chance to come to George's and glad we did . The day was perfect and not crowded . We were seated quickly ..the bloody Mary's were quite tasty win a nice kick and paired well with the clam cakes . They were not as I suspected like crab cakes but more like a... More

We have now been to George's four times and tonight was fabulous. The four of us shared muscles, oysters and calamari. All were excellent. Main course was even better. The seafood marinara, swordfish, fish tacos, and baked seafood casserole were all exceptionally done. Our waitress Danielle was very helpful and attentive. Great views from the top floor and well made... More

We went in for an early dinner/happy hour on a recent Friday. George's is in a great location with excellent views and offers excellent food and beverages served by a kind and attentive staff. The Point Judith Calamari was absolutely fabulous! We were fortunate enough to hear the live music they offered this particular Friday. I highly recommend this spot... More

Looking for a place for seafood since we were in the area. Saw reviews were pretty good so we gave it a try. Since it was a cloudy Sat and after lunch hour and before dinner and there weren't too many people in the restaurant, we were surprised we were seated in the back side of the restaurant and not... Our family has been eating at George's, since the day they opened. Decades later, here we are, again. We arrived for lunch and were greeted warmly at the door. After being shown to our table, our waitress immediately took our order for drinks & appetizers. Our meal arrived in a timely manner. The chowder & clam cakes were superb, as... More

My husband and I came in on Saturday and shared a few apps for lunch. The Portuguese clams were delicious as well as the sauteed calamari. Our waitress Erica gave us great recommendations and was very friendly and attentive. We will be back soon!

The Apple wood Bacon Mussels are the best appetizer that I ever had. Dottie gave as soft, warm rolls to sop up the cream sauce and bacon which is good because I was tempted to lick the shells.
