So, we eat out a lot being retired ... We were next door at a Smoky Bones and ignored for almost ten minutes ! We left and went into Lyndon Diner next door. Seated immediately (where we chose) and up pops a cheerful waitress named Amanda to see if we wanted drinks. Here, she wasn't "our" waitress but said she... More

We stayed across the street at the La Quinta and were looking for a convenient place for dinner. First visit to York - but we'd return just for the Lyndon Diner! Saturday evening, the place was quite busy. Our server, Janet, was incredibly pleasant, efficient and helpful. The crab corn bisque was wonderful. Plenty of real crab meat (hate that... More

As a business traveler, I am always looking for a friendly place where you can be comfortable by yourself or with friends. We found it at Lyndon's. We ordered both from the menu and the specials, and everyone raved about the food and the portions. We were treated so well we spent more time than we realized, so, of course,... More

Come to York every year for 20 years. Love it. Best service and great food. Won't go anywhere else . The service is superb, and variety of food. Can't ask for anything better.

Great service, really good food. They even have liverwurst and onion sandwiches. How rare is that for those who know what it is. Its always crowded but its large enough we never have to wait for a table. Baked oatmeal in the morning for breakfast is excellent. Just a really home town place with excellent food and some very unique... More

Our favorite lunch is their egg salad and bacon club. The staff is very pleasant and the food is delicious. Worth your stop.

A rather lame extension of their Lancaster diner. It just doesn't do it. There are too many other options nearby that provide better service, food and overall ambiance.

I have eaten here a few times over the years. I can honestly say I've never been impressed. The food is mediocre at best and services isn't any better. They have a habit of under performing when it comes to health inspections and I will no longer eat here.

Stopped in for lunch today. Asked for my waffle without powder sugar, came through with powder sugar. They offered to remake it. However the service was very slow and didn't want to take any longer. My husband had chicken salad sandwich which was ok.When he asked for potato salad, the waiter remarked you don't want that it isn't very good.... More

Stopped in today for a late lunch. Wife had the tuna salad sandwich and the "famous" creamy cole slaw. Not sure what is famous about it. It was very mushy and tasteless. Her tuna salad was tuna and LOTS of mayonnaise. No onion or celery. I had the liver and onions. Tender and they give you a large portion. Next... More
