We dined here on a Thursday evening at 5:30pm. It was very quiet and remained so until we left at 7:30. Waitstaff was very pleasant but not well informed about the menu and service was extremely slow considering that there was only one other table. The menu was interesting in that it included a bar menu along with the regular... More

My department recently hosted a retirement party at The Accomac. The evening was nothing short of exceptional. The chef created an innovative menu of 4 first courses, 4 entrees and 5 desserts. The food was perfectly cooked and, for a party of 34, served in a timely manner. The staff who attended us displayed the highest level of professionalism. They... More

I had been at the Accomac 25+ years ago, and I always remember the experience as very positive. So, I was excited to take my daughter there for her birthday. We decided to sit on the porch, which was lovely. They even provided blankets to take the chill off once the sun goes down. The atmosphere is very quaint and... More

We are sorry that you did not have a stellar experience with us. We take all complaints seriously, and discuss them from top to bottom with our staff. We have been in business for 45 years and are a fine dinning restaurant. We craft service for each table that dines with us. We are not a "quick eats" establishment, high-end... More

The interior decor was very simple and yet very eloquent. The meal was delicious (our compliments to the chef) and the service was excellent! An excellent selection of entrees to choose from. The Inn overlooks the Susquehanna River and is very picturesque. Be prepared to spend 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours for dinner. Our only complaint was that the... More

The Accomac has been around for a long time. We've seen it go through good times, and not so good times. Our recent visit was our first in about 7 years. We were thrilled to find this historic Inn doing a bang up business on a weekend night. The ambience was as lovely as ever, and the food was outstanding.... More

Had dinner with my wife and another couple. It's a nice change from the load over crowded chain restaurants. They have a nice choice of good wines, good food selection and our waitress was amazing (wish I could remember her name).

The Good - we didn't have to wait for a table when we arrived. There were no other parties waiting ahead of us and the restaurant was only half full, so we didn't have to wait for a table. (This should have been a precursor to what was to come). The Bad - I ordered the crab cake and skate... More

Nice setting, mediocre food, horrible service. For an expensive restaurant, I expected some service. We got none at all. Food was OK but nothing to write home about. Very expensive for what you get. Too bad. Not worth the price. Go elsewhere

Avoid this restaurant at all costs unless you have all day just to sit around with nothing to drink or eat. Our party of 16 arrived before our reservations and were seated at our designated time at 1:30. We did not receive anything to drink until 2:15, and my drink was partly spilled on my dress and in my purse... More
