Decent meal at decent price, but nothing really memorable. The portions are average, the Caesar salad was disappointing, the food was warm but not hot, the bread is rather doughy, and the silverware is cheap. In fact, those in our party that had leftovers chose not to pack them up for later. On the bright side, the wait staff was... More
Have eaten here many times. Their chicken parm is the best I've ever had. They also have a chicken dish (Chicken Verde?)served with spinach and broccoli; no pasta; excellent. Great family place. I think it's the best Italian food in Yardley. Never had a bad meal here.
You can fairly judge the quality of restaurant food and service by how busy the establishment is. Villa Rosa does a very busy lunch, dinner / eat in and take out service with a quality, prepared to order menu with generous portions. Good value for the prices and friendly service. We've done both in house and take out meals and... More
first the sauce is great....lunch specials , salad, main, small canoli, a good deal...reasonably priced......chicken in the chicken parm chewy...pasta in baked ziti, over done.....great starter salad (fresh & crisp)....taste OK...it just didn't jump out at you....service very good.....average, but a good bang for your buck.
This restaurant is pretty average. Their chicken parm is good but nothing special. I usually end up here if I'm in the area and craving Italian food.
Villa rosa is what a take out Italian place should be. The sauce is great. Baked ziti was fantastic. Sautéed spinach (gotta have a veg right). But the star was the garlic knots. I think I am still tasting the garlic. Yummy!
My wife daughter and two grandchildren came for dinner tonight 6/7/16. Ordered two kids meals, and three dinner specials $12.95 each include soup or salad, entree, soft drink, and mini cannoli. Seemed like a good deal. Bread comes out - stale. Kids meal of mozzarella sticks not cooked enough. I ordered penne and broccoli - probably 25 pieces of pasta... More
The food in Villa Rosa is exceptional and the sauce is the key. I will always know that my mother made the best sauce. The smell on Sunday mornings will never be forgotten. Villa Rosa is a close second. I have learned over the years, if the sauce is good whatever is below it is exceptional. For a great gastronomical... More
I had a light meal of minestrone soup and a Caprese salad. The salad was topped which garlic which wasn't mentioned on the menu (and I do not like). I mentioned it to the waiter but he did not offer to exchange it for another. The tomatoes could have been redder and thicker.
