Had a good meal and reasonably priced. Portions are generous. Owners are from Sicily and provide a good selection of seafood dishes. Staff is courteous and knowledgeable.

It was so hard to choose what to order. Everything on the extensive menu sounded great! Two in our party ordered from the prix fixed dinner menu which was a great choice. It had a good variety on it to choose from. Portions were a good size and the food was delicious. I had fried calamari for an appetizer. It... More
This was my first time low light not too ambiance just right server very nice waiter accommodating I ordered crab cake Smothered carmilsed onions and a large spinach salad bacon vinaigrette dressing desert banana fritter if you try nothing else the fritter is wonderful enjoy
This IS an Italian restaurant! The young people working there spoke Italian to each other! We started with the calamari in a very light batter. I had POLLO VERONA, Yum & very filling! DH had a four cheese ravioli! It's worth the short drive into town to eat here. And you get to see the town square to boot! The... More
Very good pizza. Nice atmosphere with indoor courtyard. Good selection of pasta and pizza for lunch. Service is quick and waitstaff very friendly. Pizza Toscana - mozzarella, olives, arugula - light and delicious!!
If you want to try some fresh Italian food this restaurant is for you. Located on the square in Wilkes Barre it's great for venues at the Kirby. Great salads, soups & many choices for entrees, all at reasonable prices. A must if you are in WB area.
Visited on a recent Monday night and the service was extremely slow, waiting 20 minutes just to get a glass of wine. Minestrone soup was mostly peas with a few carrots and potatoes. Very disappointing considering this is an Italian restaurant. Meals were ok, prices are reasonable.
Food and service was of the highest quality. I literally lingered to savor every morsel, every drop, every portion of my soup, entree and dessert. I could eat here everyday!
Locals like to keep this a secret. One visit and you will see why. The menu, the service, the food that will now be one of your favorites is why. It's cozy and always busy and yet you are treated as if you are the only customers. It's sometimes hard to get a table when there is an event going... More
An excellent choice. We were visiting Wilkes-Barre and had to dine early to make a program at 7:30 on a Saturday evening. Very glad we made reservations for 5:00 because we needed them. These folks know how to run a restaurant. Service and food were good and décor was attractive. Café Toscana would be successful in any city on any... More
