This is a take out place only. They will heat your food while you wait. They told us they make a certain amount each day and when it is gone, it's gone. Many locals were in and out while we were there. I'm going to order some to be sent to my Polish mother-in-law for the holidays! Easier than making... More

I ordered four trays from Mom & Pops Pierogi and was pleasantly surprised. They came exactly on the discussed day in a thermal reusable bag with reusable ice packs as well. I ordered breakfast pierogies, a savory dinner flavor, and two dessert pierogies (apple cinnamon raisin & pumpkin cream cheese). So far we have tried the apple cinnamon raisin with... More

My brother and I were in Wilkes-Barre and saw the sign for "Pierogies" near the shopping centers and arena. We parked and entered this small shop. Being Polish, we had to try their pierogies. We got a dozen hot and delicious pierogies for $6 in two different carry-out tins. They were smothered in butter and a bit of kapusta. OMG.... More

Just finished having lunch here and it was delicious. This is not an eat- in restaurant but they will cook them to go. We parked across the street because there wasn't much parking in front. We were waited on right away and the gentleman at the counter was friendly. I make my own pierogi and it's a lot of work... More

We were visiting from out of town, and found out that my Aunt sometimes bought pierogis here, We were staying in an extended stay motel (with small kitchen and would supply fry pan so we bought several packages of pierogis as well as a pre-packaged butter and onions mix (since we didn't have much time we sprung for this convenience)... Picked several varieties to take back to the hotel finding that if you read and follow the directions they microwave nicely.

Coming from a Slovak family I've had my share of pierogies. I can say this is the heaviest dough I've ever encountered. I personally wouldn't touch another one of these. Roll them thinner. You filling is good but dough ruins it.

Unfortunately we didn't know the restaurant closes at 3pm on Saturday! We arrived at 3:10 pm. We actually planned part of our trip to visit this restaurant. I would have never figured they would be closed on a Saturday afternoon. :(

As homemade as it gets. They are fantastic. We got a few orders to go, hot and ready to eat, and a few dozen to go out of the refrigerator. Great selection of filling, some that I have never even heard of but found it brilliant!! Nice people working there, very polite and helpful!

Stopped here while traveling through Pa. Stood at counter for awhile while a man (owner?) talked on phone and didn't acknowledge me for awhile. He wasn't friendly at all and actually cut me off while I was talking. Ordered farmers cheese to go and they were very dry and lacked butter. The ones I make at Christmas time are much... More
