Some recent additions didn’t improve menu much…sandwiches and burgers okay…pass on the rest. Short wine pours.

My husband and I stopped here after dropping off our daughter at West Chester University. There was no wait and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. Will probably go there again.

A fine basic Irish Pub type restaurant with what you would basically expect. Tired of fast food. Go here for a pleasant change.

Description
After nearly 25 years, The Stone Tavern 1867 is the Blarney Stone – reimagined, redesigned and reinvigorated with a wee bit o’ Blarney. The inspiration for the new name comes from our loyal customers, Irish family heritage, and the exceptional quality of our food and spirits. Over the past 25 years our most loyal customers adorned us with the nickname “The Stone”. Our dedication to high quality food and spirits have earned us the “Tavern” status, and the Bayle family lineage came to the United States in “1867” from Donegal, Ireland. The Stone Tavern 1867 is a charming combination of 150 year old reclaimed wood, stone, and mortar with accents of copper, cobblestone, mature landscape and décor of the old country – both historic Chester County and that of Donegal. Our Chef and Kitchen Staff take pride in our house made menu items and cooking from scratch with quality ingredients from our local butcher.
