I love stopping here for a quick cup of coffee or especially their local honey. A general store type setup.

Discovered this pleasant oasis during a Sunday Canal Tow Path walk. Homestead offers an extensive variety of coffees, waters, flavored drinks, snacks and sandwiches. It offers indoor and outdoor seating adjacent to the Tow Path. Homestead is a nice respite if you are out for a hike or a drive in the area.

The Homestead had been recommended for its different flavored Roasted Coffees, and we were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere in their coffee shoppe/general store. After placing our breakfast order at the counter, we found a table by the roaring fire and each chose different coffees, so that we could find out what the hype was all about. I loved the... More

We come here quite a bit. Coffee is great and so is most of the breakfast choices. I recommend the French toast. Only thing that keeps it from 5 stars is the toast. I have yet to get even warm toast. Always cold with unmelted butter. I guess I've now learned to not get the toast.

We stayed at the Bridgeton House on the DE and this is a very nice and short walk to the local Roaster & General Store. Coffee is good as is the staff.

Stopped in for the 1st time on a very chilly Saturday. The place was busy with locals. You place your order at a counter, are given a number and then find a table. Prices are very reasonable and their own coffee is great. My wife and I purchased 2 different coffee bags to bring home. It must be nice in... More
