First time back to Zola since the restaurant refresh and new owner. More color on the walls, more padding to soften the hard space, and new windows in the front room which used to double as a meat locker in the winter months, kudos for making that investment. Saturday night past was the Central PA Festival of the Arts, always... More

We stopped by for an after dinner drink. We were pleased we were able to sit outside as it was a nice night. My husband and I ordered a bottle of wine to share. The wine selection was nice. My only complaint would be that most of the bottles that we were thinking of trying, were not sold by the... More

Beautiful, wide open restaurant. Friendly services from the moment we walked in the door. Zola shows off their open kitchen and uses it well. Our waiter was fun and efficient. Nice wine list (hey, they're a wine bar). We enjoyed salads and mains (steak, fish, duck). For dessert, we chose the tart. This was the only disappointing part of our... More

Dinner surprise birthday celebration for 7. We brought our own table decorations and ordered a Zola's cake ahead. The service was impeccable and the food delicious. Each one of our group got something different, so it was really interesting to see and sample several of the dishes. They were all beautifully plated and presented. Some of the dishes are more... Zola is an upscale restaurant, which is not cheap. However, the food was excellent. I had the red snapper along with someone else at the table. I ordered it filleted, which made eating it a lot easier. The other person got the whole fish and they bring out the whole fish fried. While it looked great that way, eating it... More

We resisted going back here as last experience a year ago was not good. This time food and service were very good. We celebrated our anniversary and they were very kind. Noise continues to be a people but sitting in the front helps. It's back to fine dining.

I think the three of us - my friend, son and I - had a similar experience as the previous reviewer. I had never been to "Zola's" before, but I was really impressed by their "Culinary Week" lunch special. For $13 (including tax) we got a three course meal with a non alcoholic drink. However in order to get all... More

We were warmly greeted and seated and Jay very politely welcomed and served us. We ate off the special culinary week menu. The highlight...the charcuterie platter was a delightful blend of flavorful deliciousness that my bride shared so willingly as I don't know what good gazpacho is supposed to taste like. Appetizers were followed by blackened chicken dripping with flavorful... More

Zolas was highly recommended however was very disappointing. The wine and beer list was great. Thinking I couldn't go wrong with a $45 filet was a mistake. Ordered it medium and it was well done. The gnudi wasn't edible and I ordered mushrooms but was given carrots. They did bring mushrooms after telling them the order was wrong. The service... More
