The food is always good. Staff is friendly. Not to expensive. Not very big so you might have to wait to be seated.

Quaint, fast and friendly service, good food at really low prices. It is less than a mile off of the Sommerset exit of the turnpike, which is very convenient for travelers. I would recommend this for anyone who likes old time diner food.

The pies are the best, Call ahead if you want a whole one, which we bring as a gift wherever we go. Stick with the diner food- burgers, pies, sandwhiches. My husband had the meatloaf and it was a little bland. Service is always good, great mix of locals and travelers visit this place. A throw back to the 50s... More

Summit Dinner is a great, quaint please for friends to gather and eat. It's clean, pleasant and the food is beyond excellent!! The gob cake is a must try. People travel far and wide for taste of it.

The staff here was very friendly, and helpful, and took great care of our party! The prices seem reasonable, but the food was unexciting. My guess is they likely excel at breakfast fare, but we were there in the late afternoon and our party got lunch food only. Their vegetable beef soup was quite good but the sandwiches were just... We had lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our sandwiches / burgers in a nice historic diner atmosphere. The refurbished restroom was a quite interesting metal makeover.

Somerset has few choices for dining . When passing threw we always stop here . I get the swiss mushroom burger and fries . The wife loves their pies . Not sure if they are always as busy during the week but on the weekend seems to be a favorite of many

We happened to come across this gem while looking for breakfast. We were not disappointed! Our food was delicious and our waitress was very friendly.

We stopped here at about 11:00 on a Wednesday for a late breakfast, at the recommendation of a hotel clerk. It was easy to find; classic NY-area diner look. We were taken to the "dining room" which was pretty neat - 6 or 8 large booths, with the walls painted in a 50s-era motif by what seemed to be a... More
