I recently had lunch here and found this restaurant to be quite fascinating with the decor. The food was delicious and the service was great, but the menu didn't have very many selections. Disappointed in the menu options.

Came here with husband for 'parents night out' on St. Patrick's Day for dinner. Saw good reviews on tripadvisor and was looking for a new place in Skippack to try. Called earlier in day to get reservation for dinner. We were seated promptly when we arrived and the waitress was very nice. My husband went with the meatloaf and I... More

My husband and I finally got a chance to go to the new Back Porch Café. As before, the atmosphere is cozy and the staff friendly but best of all was the great food! My jambalaya was phenomenal and my husband's ribs were tasty! We had a brisket flatbread appetizer which we loved! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Down home country comfort favorites with a Cajun flair. Smoked meats and fish. Crab cakes. Shrimp and Grits. Inspired salads and soups.

Amazing food and highly personable server, chef and owner. The potato andouille sausage soup was the best I've had. Shrimp and grits were perfection, peach-blueberry pie with orange cream to die for. I don't write many reviews... Had to for this place. A must.

The Back Porch Cafe will be reopening in a few weeks with an all new menu and management. Down-home American classics. Pot roasts, smoked meats and fish, chicken pot pie, shrimp and crab boils, pork loin, veggie and goat cheese lasagna, brined turkey, mac & cheese, snapper soup and more.

My sister and I were there to celebrate our birthdays. Ended up we had the place to ourselves. Both of us ordered the crab bisque soup. It was the best we've ever had but a little pricey for a cup. We ended up ordering the filet and crab cakes so we could have "surf & turf". Filet was cooked perfectly.... More

First visit, and found service and food excellent. Very creative menu and specials. Would strongly recommend. Contrary to another review, we found the atmosphere charming and nicely decorated for Christmas. The overall design of the restaurant is very pleasant with large windows and a nice fireplace which we sat by on a cold late fall evening. A little tricky to... More

The food was limited on the menu but that didn't mean anything. Crab bisque soup was excellent, and caprese was very fresh. The fried green tomato BLTs were really good as well. It's a little confusing because it's called back porch cafe but they don't serve any type of brunch there. I live in Skippack and this place is very... More
