Food was pretty good. We liked the buffalo chicken bites. Reason for three stars is that the kitchen wouldn't put tomatoes on only half of the pizza for some strange reason. Pizza was pretty good too though.

Had lunch with my husband and two teenage kids. Things we liked: -The pizza was good -Meatballs were excellent -Lunch specials were reasonable -Service was good. Waitress was friendly and efficient Things we didn't like: -Wedding soup tasted like it came from a can. Was overpriced at $4.49 for a small bowl -Soft drinks were $2.69 each. I know there... More
This place is well known by almost everyone in the Fox Chapel area. The owners are locals and the place is in a pretty well shape. Food is nice, a little bit expensive, but then again, serving the Fox Chapel Area, no one will complaint. Love the Eggplant Parmesan, nice wine list and the service is very good.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in the 'Burgh. For happy hours, they have a great bar and bartender, James. Often sit and watch sports and talk to strangers who become friends. Good happy hour pricing. We often order an appetizer and then dinner to go home with. Fantastic pizza and lasagna, but one of Todd's favorites is the... More
We had a party of ten and needed a place for a Sunday night informal dinner. Had never been to La Capella so decided to give it a try. We started with appetizers of chicken wings and fried zucchini. Very good. My wife and I split an order of veal parmigiana which was sufficient . I also tasted the linguini... More
Food is always great and they offer great lunch specials that include a little bit of everything. Service can be a little disjointed sometimes during lunch (long wait for food, empty drinks, etc), but generally not enough to make me not want to return.
Don't get me wrong: this is a fine eatery and we will be back. The pizza and Italian sandwiches are as good as you'll get anywhere. The fried appetizers are really worth the trip alone: get the zucchini! It's modestly priced and the food is much better than the low prices you pay. But today, we had a problem. We... More
Tuesday night is half price pizza. You can get a large cheese pizza for $7. It's thin crust, but not crunchy. They also have a really good ranch dressing that's made in house. The roasted red pepper bisque is so good! Everything else is average, you could make it at home if you tried.
Pizza was amazing. My husband doesn't like different pizza but ate the whole entire large pizza. I had the lasagna and made it a meal for three days. Awesome place.
