Let's see; where do I begin. First of all, this place is in a high crime area & parking (if you want to call it that) is across the railroad tracks in the mud. Come packing! The building, both out & inside, looks like the health Dept should condemn it. Definitely not handicapped accessible; the deploable unisex bathroom is at... More

Don't just show up, you need to call to ensure he is open and serving. There is no menu, you get what he serves. Remember to BYOB. If you want to drink anything other than water, you better bring it. They don't serve ice, coke or tea. The food was good. Lots of pasta and cabbage. All plastic plates, cups... More

It is hard to find a Hungarian restaurant, let alone a really good one. Some of the meals rival my grandmother's. The variety of items and the atmosphere were great.

Everything about our evening was wonderful. I set up our evening with Alex and he was such a delight on the phone and in person. Each course he brought to our table was better than the previous one. While it is strange to walk through the kitchen to reach the small dinning room, it was part of the charm of... More

So after being highly recommended by a friend, I went to Jozsa's with a few family members. The building is nothing to look at and actually may be smaller inside than it looks on the outside. You literally have to walk through the kitchen to get to the small, cramped dining room. Jozsa and his waitress eventually start to trickle... More

I had heard good things and read alot of nice reviews about Jozsa Corner, so when our group of friends decided to meet there for dinner, I was anxious to try it. You must call ahead for reservations (which we did) and were told to arrive at 5:30. We got there about 15 minutes early, so rather than stand outside... More

Had a great meal with my girlfriend. We found the food to be delicious, the atmosphere comforting, and we loved listening to Alex. Those with Hungarian roots can learn a lot about there heritage. It is the kind of place you want to savor.

I will go back again. Six of us went with reservations and enjoyed a wonderful time, good company and food. It is not a typical restaurant but certainly an experience. In an edgy looking part of town, you are eating in the back room of the establishment - in a three tabled area decorated with pictures and bottles of Hungarian... More

I started off going to write a really bad review because I really didn't like the food. And as for atmosphere, this place is a hole in the wall, literally. There is a hole punched through the wall from the entrance (which looks like an old bar) to the room where you eat . You have to squeeze through the... More

If you are of Hungarian heritage and are in Pittsburgh you must call and make a reservation to go to this place. You need to call before you go, no drop ins! The owner is such a great host! My boyfriend and I went one weekend, the owner already had a private party in the dining room and he let... More
