Have to say we were disappointed. Very "Pittsburgh-y" feel, and the folks were nice enough. Make sure you have cash...they do not take credit cards, but do have an ATM machine on the premises. Street parking only. Seating inside or out - we ate outside; cute alleyway on a sunny day. Busy lunch experience. Ordered cold cut Italian...the roll, while... More

been going here forever, need my monthly cheese steak fix! drop a dollar for the boys and get more meat, on a soft Italian bread, just chewy enough and a generous meat provologne delight. Add fries and your stuffed.

Peppis has great food! Sandwiches, salads, and fries are all delicious! Always fresh and delicious! One warning - this location gets very busy at lunch - best to go at an off peak time or to call ahead.

We ordered 3 "Roethlis-burgers" for our tailgating party on Christmas Day. These huge sandwiches have sausage, egg, cheese and a burger on them. I have to say, they were maybe the best sandwiches I ever had. The Philly Cheesesteak has nothing on the "Roethlis-burger"

When you want something quick but great to eat, check out Peppi's! So many of the sandwiches are named after famous Pittsburgh stars! The bread they use is amazing and my husband said his sandwich was the best he has ever had in his life! (Santucci #27) Order a side of fresh cut fries as well...you won't be disappointed!

We were visiting from out of town and this place was recommended to us. The sandwiches were big so my husband and I split one one and we got a large fry. We ordered the special steak which was steak, peppers, onions, and provolone cheese. It was pretty amazing. They also have ketchup and vinegar on the tables. You can... More

Peppi's is a classic, old-school sub shop (the kind of place that DiBellas, which I love, pretends to be. Nice spacious dining room to enjoy their many decadently-laden subs full of meat and toppings grilled to order. If you've enough appetite, get a side of their cajun fries to share with some sweet Heinz ketchup. Great pre-game food to save... More

If you are looking for fancy, keep looking! You walk in read the sandwich listing on the two boards hanging from the ceiling and place an order. Leave a tip and the bell will ring. Great flavors, steak, mushrooms, onions, cheese and that is just on one sandwich. Many others to choice some and some are named after some famous... More
