Food was good, who doesn't want fries and crispy slaw in the middle of your sandwich? I got the GF version, so no bread, and it was still good and they didn't skimp of the portion. Service was good and the girl was busy. I just wish they had some hard cidar choices. We will go back.

I can't say for sure that it is. It's a bit hectic and chaotic there, with no real instructions on how to order/pay/sit, etc. Once we figured out that we had to go up to the bar in the back to order (instead of a typical place where someone comes to the table to get the order), things improved from... My friends told me the history of this small chain - going back to the time when steelworkers needs a very fast lunch. The meal was great and the atmosphere was fun. Our party of 6 each ordered something different and everyone was pleased!

Heard so many good things about this place and unfortunately it failed on all aspects. Our sandwiches were extremely bland (deluxe egg and capicola) with soggy fries, the drinks weren't bad, to top it off i had to hunt Down our waitress at least 3 times to get the drinks, an appetizer(the mozzarella sticks were the only good part) ,... Delicious Pitts-burgher cheese steak and excellent service provided by David. We enjoyed a family friend meal in a great environment!

This is a real treat when in Pittsburgh. Be sure to come hungry, bring a friend, or be prepared to take some with you, though, because the sandwiches are huge!

The Primanti Bros sandwich is one of those things you just have to do when you are in this area. Great French bread, your choice of grilled meat, fresh cut fries, and a vinegar slaw piled high and served on waxed paper, without a plate. The sandwich is a little light on meat, but the piles of fries and slaw... More

Wouldn't feed such a sandwich to my dog if he was dying of starvation in the desert. Move along. However two angry balls of cider is acceptable
