Stopped there election night - after working the polls all day, and was starving. the shop was supposed to be open - according to the hours posted on the door 9p.m. & I was there at 8:30. The woman was behind the counter, counting the $, she saw I came to the front door and couldn't get in because it... More

We like our Pizza just so, and John and his people are always accommodating. In fact, my husband has created his own Pizza, which Upper Crust is only too happy to make. Their crust is so delicious, it may be fought over in our house. Don't discount their fish sandwiches, however. They're prepared to taste -- baked or fried --... More

The problem with the pizza is the crust. The toppings are fresh and plentiful. The crust is limp. It is almost damp. I just eat the top off of the pizza. That's the best part.

I stopped in on my way home from work to pick up a pizza for the family. I have been to plenty of pizza shops all down the East coast and this was by far the best pizza I have had. If you are in the area, make it a priority to stop and get a pizza. You will not... More

Folks there are nice. Good meatballs. Great for a load of kids or when you don't feel like cooking. Fox chapel area. Been around for at least 10 years.

Stopped on the way home from work to pick up an extra large plain traditional pizza. It was huge, fed four of us with a few pieces leftover. Delicious! Perfect crust, tasty sauce. And the guys who work there were really friendly and thanked us for our business. Who does that anymore? We'll be back next week!

The Italian hoagies have one small layer of meat on them....looked really sad. Also, only received a few little pieces of lettuce. Disappointed. They were a good size but not enough meat to say the least. At $10 a hoagie, I expect more.

I don't usually post restaurant reviews, especially for pizza, but had to acknowledge the outstanding pizza and subs at Upper Crust. We're local, but there are certainly other pizza joints in the neighborhood. Nothing beats the freshness and deliciousness of Upper Crust. Would and have recommended to all my neighbors and anyone passing through the area.
