While on business in Pittsburgh, our group went to Lidia's. One of my colleagues is a big fan of Ms. Bastianich, so a meal here was a must! The food and service was top notch. If you have the chance to visit, try the gnocchi and the butterscotch budino!

Went here for the first time during restaurant week hoping to find a new great place in Pittsburgh. No such luck. Food was barely average and cold. Service was as cold as the food. Shame because the restaurant is in a great location and is beautiful inside. We will not return.

Unlike Meat and Potatoes our waitress was amazing. We had an issue with a food runner and she made up for it with a small discount on the bill. Tried the trio of pastas - all you can eat - NOT - yes it is all you can eat but the pastas, all very good, were so rich I doubt... More

My husband and I are foodies, eagerly trying recipes of television chefs. We were excited to find Lidia's next to our hotel, but were instantly disappointed. We both ordered the all-you-can-eat pasta special which allows you to sample three pasta dishes, which we thought would be the highlight of the menu. The pasta was bland - simply nothing special. Neither... More

First time eating here and we will be back! When we walked in the delicious smells made us glad we were there. When we initially arrived the host slightly ignored us which was a bit strange, and then he seated us right in front of the waiters station when there were a lot of empty seats in better places. Thankfully... More

Having dined at many Italian restaurants all over the world I was quite disappointed with our meals on NYE. Atomoshere was pretty good. We did have a reservation. The reception attendant asked us if we wanted a table in the bar area? No, that's why we made a reservation The meals came out quickly but both my Osso Bucco and... More

The service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant, but the food was a different story. The brocolli was way over cooked and had no seasoning at all. The chicken Parmesan had little cheese and no marina sauce, just some tomato slices on it. The tiramisu was also a big letdown; it can't compare to Costco's! No one at our... More

I always made a visit to Lidia's when I visited Pittsburgh. This is my third visit and the most disappointed one of all. The service overall was good but the unlimited pastas that we ordered was inconsistent each time when we asked for extras. My mixed salad presentation was messy and my seafood soup was a bit on the sweet... More

Whether you need a small intimate party setting( upstairs hosted my wedding shower) or a family gathering, brunch before the Steeler game or a special celebration, Lidia's can handle it. Great food, great service and a fun atmosphere. Pasta sampling I highly recommend. Very nice wine list and don't forget to pick up a cookbook so that you can try... More

we have eaten at Lidia's several times. it's a great place for special occasions, or for Sunday brunch before shopping on The Strip. we've also very much enjoyed some of the special dinners they present, like the seven fishes dinner on Christmas Eve. we have never had a bad meal at Lidia's.
