A group of my friends went for brunch. The bread and flavored butters were awesome! The unlimited app/dessert tables were alright...i got the pasta trio which was really good and filling, i couldn't even get more than one plate! Our waitress was awesome, extremely nice, she even packed us up some extra food to take home. While nothing was phenomenal,... More

If you think that eating at Lidia's Pittsburgh would bring a delicious, enjoyable dining experience you would be right. Everyone...valet parkers, hosts, servers, runners...we're upbeat and focused on making your experience positive. The menu has just enough selection for all...fish, pasta, chicken, red meat, veges, non gluten...and does not disappoint. My wife had Scampi - shrimp and spaghetti squash- and... More

This had been on my "need to try" list in Pittsburgh for awhile. To be honest, the food was ok, however not the caliber I expected. The server was competent, but lacked personality. 3 of us at the table ordered the pasta trio which included 2 home made pastas that were very good and one "imported" pasta with a cauliflower... Lydia's in the Strip District of Pittsburgh is a favorite Italian restaurant. We were there for a family birthday dinner late Sunday afternoon. The Steelers were playing a late game, so like most restaurants in Pittsburgh, it was not at all crowded...which is unusual. As always, the food at Lidia's was excellent. If you order the pasta trio, which changes... More

Absolutely phenomenal food and service! The pasta was handmade, fresh, and delicious! The salmon was cooked to perfection. The selections were unique and some of the best Italian I have had. Can't wait for a return visit!

I made a reservation through the internet about a month before the date of our 21 Wedding Anniversary. I also purchased a Gift Card so that we could order anything and not worry about the cost! We used valet parking, and we were seated immediately for the reserved time. Choosing a menu item isnot easy - they all sound very... More

Located at the reclaimed old harbor of PGH which is now the high end of The Strip is this beautifully appointed restaurant with nice tables with linen cover and napkins. Help is attentive and explains the menu and dishes. They make their own bread and serves them with humus mixed with olives and also with pesto mixed with olives. Nice... More

I was at Lidia's on what seemed to be a non-descript Wednesday night. They were quite crowded and pretty much in the weeds for my entire meal. We had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated, despite having a reservation, and then it took quite a bit of time to be acknowledged once we were seated. We had a... More

I watch Lidia's. TV show and have made her recipes with wonderful results. I was very excited to go to her restaurant in Pgh. The restaurant was very nice with linen table cloths and napkins. The staff was knowledgeable and very attentive. But the food was a disappointment. The pasta was thick and heavy and the bread was heavy and... More
