As every year, we had our Easter Lunch, my wife my kids and myself at the Grand Concourse. From the Sales people, the reservation people, the front desk employees to all the restaurant staff, service is second to none. Food is great and abundant. Plenty of choices of wine and drinks to help you take down the food, lot of... More

How long should it take for appetizers to arrive? Not an hour and a half! How about entrees? Over 2 hours! Would you expect the soup, fish, and coffee to be hot? I don't think that's too much to ask on a Saturday night in a fine dining spot with one of Pittsburgh's best views. We were a party of... More

The title is key, please make sure you do it to avoid waiting. The food is better then good and plentiful. There really isn't anything to complain about but I am sure some will find something. Enjoy the food and time with whoever you decide to come with.

I have eaten here many times for dinner and been to several weddings here. I was just here for a wedding and had the same experience I always have. It's beautiful inside. They did a remarkable job restoring the old train station. However the food is slightly above average and the service is always average. Not what you would expect... More

Upon entering the Grand Concourse, I was in amazement. It was a modern step back in time. The history of this building, the people that have passed through, the changes it has seen, and the beauty is indescribable. The view of the river and the city was amazing as we enjoyed our delicious lunch. It was one of those places... More

If you've eaten in Grand Central Station in New York, this is a similarly historic location. The starting point for the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad. The trains stopped coming here in 1960 but still pass by. The restaurant was opened in 1978 and is currently franchised to Landry's. Clams & fresh lobsters available, but the salmon & New England... 5 star all the way, with the best food and service. The ambiance in the main dining room, an old train station from a bygone era, will take your breath away. Not Europe, but Pittsburgh. A bit pricey, but well worth it. Love being able to pick my own raw oyster. Their "Dynamite Scallops" appetizer is to die for......
