I looked over the menu online before my husband and my visit and planned on getting the $30 crab stuffed salmon entree. Upon being seated and waiting 5-10 minutes to even be addressed, I decided I would not be paying for a $30 entree because with a $30 entree I expect a higher level of service which we clearly were... Stopped in after shopping the strip district. I was lucky enough to find a parking spot right in front on a Friday afternoon. After perusing the menu outside, I saw what I wanted to order. I was greeted and seated immediately. Everyone from the Hostess, wait staff, bar tender, chef and owner were so warm & friendly. I felt very... More

Ordered jumbo shrimp cocktail and when delivered to table, shrimp were warm. Service was ok. Nothing special. Could have been better all around. Halibut was very good. Tuna entree was not very good.

It was Saturday in the Strip, and after all that shopping, it was time to grab a bite. The Wholey name is well known in Pittsburgh for their seafood market - so you'd expect this to be an extension. It was great. Mussels were enormous and superb. We were all in the mood for a fish sandwich and got the... More

We went for restaurant week, just for a reason to get out mainly and we were not disappointed! The menu was amazing and we very much enjoyed our selections which were both on and off of the specials menu! There is as well something to be said about the atmosphere. I felt like I was enjoying a 5 star menu... More

Next time you're wondering through Pitt's blissful strip district stop by Luke's Alaskan grill! Staff couldn't have been friendlier and more inviting! Kudos to Brian our waiter and the guy carving up the salmon - they were awesome with our kids. Definitely coming back for cocktails, lobster bisque, etc!!

My daughter and had an excellent lunch. We had shrimp bites for our appetizer. We had our choice of dipping sauce. I had the Steel City Lobster roll. My daughter had the Lobster bisque and shrimp roll sushi. All the food was excellent. Will definitely visit again. Attached is a shot of my Steel City Lobster roll.

We went to Wild Alaskan Grille for our anniversary. I couldn't wait to go because I heard they had delicious lobster rolls. I was disappointed to find out they were only served at lunch. I ordered the shrimp and lobster pizza. It was burnt. It was also so overly seasoned that you couldn't actually taste the seafood. I had some... More

Each year about this time, we make the rounds on Penn Avenue for produce, cheeses and other delectable holiday delights. After dragging our bags back to the car we ended our morning with a stop at Wholey's Wild Alaskan Grille. We began with the infamous Bloody Mary's and worked our way through tomato soup, fries, and a shared lobster roll.... More
