Third time here. Food is really excellent, and they have a good variety of dishes. Anytime we are in the area, we always plan to go there.

We ended up eating here three days in a row because someone I know *ahem* got hooked on it the first night. Busy restaurant with amazing options. Helpful staff and fast service make this a perfect choice for lunch or dinner.
We walked over last Tuesday evening from a hotel at the convention center. Upon arrival we were asked if we had a reservation. Although we had no reservation & the restaurant was busy, they seated us with no problem. Service was friendly & professional. Started off the meal with jasmine tea & crispy spring rolls, 5 rolls on a bed... More
We went here for a late lunch after visiting the Warhol Museum. We were seated immediately and were impressed by the friendly service and menu which featured many of the Thai classics but also a handful of entrees that I've never seen before. I had a curry that is native to Northern Thailand with pineapple, peanuts, peppers, and tofu. The... More
I dined here with family. We were all visiting from out of state and my family members had already eaten here twice. It was delicious. I had an eggplant dish. Others ordered the chicken soup and curry. I would definitely go back. We dined at the downtown location.
I've been to both Pittsburgh locations multiple times and love the food. They have different menus, dahntahn has libations North side is BYOB. What I like best is all the non coconut milk dishes and the spicy stuff. They're great at explaining the dishes and really take care of you. Go there!
I'm sorry but this restaurant has gone downhill. They are using standard American vegetables like frozen peas and carrots in curries? When I go out for Thai I expect the real deal not something I can make at home by buying some curry sauce and mixing it with Birdseye frozen veggies.
Found this gem while passing through the neighborhood. It was packed on a weeknight and so thought it must have something to offer. We weren't disappointed. We shared a curry that was generously portioned, extremely flavorful and fresh. The service was prompt and pleasant. I would describe the decor as gold-baroque Thai, which makes for an interesting dining experience. The... More
The food is always very good at Nicky's- the best Pad Thai I have had in Pittsburgh to date. The Pineapple Fried Rice is also a top pick. We had a girls' night out to celebrate a friend's birthday, and we had a great night. The restaurant can get busy- be prepared for a short wait on weekend evenings.
I eat at the North Side location regularly. The food is reliably awesome. I have no favorites, because I've enjoyed everything I've ever tried here. If the weather is warm, ask to sit on the patio. I had been eating there for over a year the first time it was offered to me and was blown away by the little... More
