If you are staying at the Renaissance, do not, repeat do not leave your hotel to eat anywhere else. This restaurant is outstanding...the best in the Cultural District. If you are attending an event in the area, eat at this restaurant.

Great atmosphere, right in theater district, roomy, friendly. This place has a separate bar and dining room so great for meeting before theater or a dinner with under-age people. Wait staff attentive and engaging but not to the point of disruption. Food lovely and delicious. Not least expensive option in area but competitive and well worth it! Only note is... More

My husband and I decided to visit Pittsburgh last minute. After settling in at the Renaissance Hotel, we decided to check out the attached bar/restaurant, Braddock's American Brassiere. Having seen a woman next to us order and receive a very beautiful and festive St. Patrick's Day themed cocktail, I decided to ask for one myself, challenging Mike & Mark our... More

The restaurant is located in the historic Renaissance Hotel. The entrance hall is grandiose ! The welcoming at the entrance of the hotel/restaurant let you feel important ! The service in the restaurant was excellent and professional . The menu has a nice variation of food. We ordered starters and de bouillabaisse. Excellent choice and fast service. The restaurant is... The welcome was less than welcoming at the entrance of the restaurant, however our server, Michael, more than made up for the initial interaction. Michael set the bar high for himself, but no worries, he never dropped below exceptional service. The buffet was very nice, although nothing truly unique. I missed trying anything at the special station because of the... More

Stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday evening and pretty much had the place to ourselves; maybe four or five other parties. We were waited on quickly and our server was excellent. We started with two glasses of wine and the jumbo lump crab cake as an appetizer ($11). The crab cake was good but not the best I've had... More

On a recent Friday 4 of us decided to try and get drinks and dinner or appetizers before a show. We had no reservations but Pittsburgh is pretty casual that way and we've always done OK in the past (perhaps until lately?). We went to Braddock's in the Renaissance hotel and it looked pretty quiet at 5:45 pm but they... More

Excellent staff and lovely drinks. Met friends here and enjoyed the location in the Renaissance hotel. Nice drinks and they have a happy hour!

Located inside the historic Renaissance hotel in downtown Pittsburgh, Braddock's offers a great meal for a great price! Walking in the staff makes you feel welcome. The waitstaff is very knowledgeable about their menu and the chefs do an excellent job presenting the courses. We tried the pheasant and it was amazing!

Consistent food delivered through room service. The menu could benefit from seasonal variation, but is otherwise fine.
