Piccolo Forno is one of those restaurants where you'd like to order everything on the menu at least once. The food is as good or better than any Italian restaurant in Pittsburgh. If you're looking for spaghetti and meatballs drenched in red sauce, look elsewhere. If you'd like an authentic wood-fired pizza or a fresh pasta dish with ingredients like... More

Always a great place for a business lunch. Food is very good. Place is small but comfortable. Also a good place to take the family. I have eaten here with my family, too. Very generous portions. Service is good and friendly. Highly recommend this resturant. We had one of their signature pizzas and a pasta meal. All very very good

The crust was nice and thin. The cheese was barely melted and very good. Service was slow. The best thing was the atmosphere.

I honestly don't understand these reviews. The pizza tasted okay, but I needed a saw to cut through it. Seriously, it was like microwaved cardboard. I hope people don't think that this is what Neapolitan thin crust pizza is - bone fide thin Neapolitan pizza is light and chewy, moist, and has texture and air bubbles. My husband's wild boar pasta... A friend and I went out for a girls night and we chose this resturant because of previous experiences. We actually were seated within 15 min after arrival though we had been told it would be an hour wait. We were pleased. The resturant seemed packed as usual and the noise level was high. The salad we shared was amazing,... More

Wow, very good. Picked up the wine and did the corkage. Wife had the Salmon ravioli and I had the tortelli. Both amazing. Fast, friendly, service and great tiramazu.

Food was good but I couldn't get passed the crammed feeling. Plus, it was hot and the kitchen steam didn't help my experience.

Another couple invited us to go spur-of-the-moment on a Saturday evening. We arrived around 5 pm so the wait wasn't terrible- maybe 30 minutes. They took one of our cell numbers and we had drinks across the street until they called to say our table was ready. We loved our food - especially the lasagna. It looked like an enormous... More

four of us, late lunch, we shared a salad and the each our own panini....and split to taste. loved the caprese. the siciliano was a bit spicy...but regardless, the bread was fresh and the overall experience was lovely. no rush, the staff was great.

Trendy Italian restaurant in Lawrencville! Food was very good, with plenty of choices We had the Lasagna & pizza (thin crust) excellent! Parking can be a problem and although we got there early and got right in, I understand there is normally a 1 hour wait.
