Run, don't walk to Piccolo Forno! We found this restaurant several years ago while in Pittsburgh for the weekend. We're in Pittsburgh several times a year and always go to Piccolo Forno. On our last visit, we had the pizza with four different toppings, papparadelle...More

Rules I've discovered in life... when the pasta is made fresh and in-house, 9 times out of 10 you can expect an unforgettable meal. This rule definitely applied to Piccolo Forno! Let's start with the service - hostesses were friendly and attentive. We had about...More

Enjoyed myself here. Food was very good, service was attentive but not excessive, portions were healthy. Nice, warm space. If you are thinking of going, you should.

We started with 3 different salads and they were all delicious. The main course lasagna was fabulous and were the gnocchi and ribbon pasta. Very different and tasty flavors.

Quality and consistency are the hallmarks of this fine Pittsburgh institution. Great pizzas the prosciutto and arugula is highly recommended. Homemade pastas are to die for!

Would highly recommend this place. AMAZING fresh pasta. BYOB is always a great way to control how much you spend on a great meal so I take full advantage and bring a couple bottles of wine!

The pasta here is amazing!!! Every dish we tried (and we tried 4 of them) was delicious! You can tell the pasta is handmade. The pizza was also very good. I had the meat lasagna and would recommend it to anyone.

Went there on the recommendation of a foodie friend, but was disappointed, I was expecting some good classic Italian food. While it was Italian food it was not that good. The fresh pasta was excellent but the sauces were under seasoned, the spinach ravioli was...More
