A recent visit to the Valley Forge, Pennsylvania area prompted a dinnertime visit to Thai Place (700 Nutt Road, Phoenixville Plaza Suite #730, Phoenixville, PA 19460). The restaurant was easy to locate in a strip mall and offered ample parking. The spotless dining room was decorated in a creative array of Thai craftmanship, consisting of pottery, woodwork and paintings. Having... More

I ordered takeout from this restaurant and was pleased with my order. I got the Todd Mun Chicken appetizer - deep fried ground chicken patty with a blended in curry paste. I also ordered the Kanom Bueng entree which is a Asian style crepe stuffed with shrimp, bean sprouts, carrots, and coconut. Both are served with a cucumber sauce. The... More

Fresh, fragrant Thai food. Always busy, lovely, friendly staff. Good portions of food. Prices reasonable for food quality and quantity. Only downside is that it is located in a strip Mall, which lacks atmosphere and feels very suburban and dull.

We started of with a number of different appetizers, Spring Rolls that were delightfully crispy, a very tasty chicken satay, our first time trying Meing cum which we loved and a nicely spicy Yum Nua Yang salad. All were excellent. For our mains we had Panang Curry and P. P Seafood. Wonderful sauces and good size portions that made for... More

came in from the city to visit family and we got take-out from this joint a couple nights ago. Let me just say, this is the best Thai I have had in all of Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. And I've tried a lot. And I've been to Thailand twice. Just great food. Had the: Mussels - I can eat... More

Food was passable but certainly nothing special. No where as good as it used to be. Servers were very unprofessional and did not understand their own menu. Thankfully there are many better Thai restaurants to chose from these days.

We go there all the time food is great and it's pleasant wish they had a liquor license but alas these little fine dinning restaurants might start selling to all the under age kiddies in the area lol

Eaten here for take out in the past, massaman curry is good. Trying to eat in tonight and staff didn't take our order for over 30 mins...and they were not crowded. Take out is the best plan for The Thai Place.

I note the other reviews and I have to say we were just not that impressed. We only got one entree to go -curry chicken on watercress per the menu, but one of us thinks it is more like bean sprouts. Perhaps it was kale? I dunno, anyway, it was mildly spicy which was ok, I did like the thinly... More
