Marsha Brown's is a wonderful restaurant to enjoy fresh oysters (the night we were there they had 3 different kinds to choose from). The cajun dishes are outstanding old-family recipes and deliver just the right amount of spice! Martinis at the bar started the evening right.

Marsha Brown's is a nice place to try at least one time. It's on the main street of New Hope (close to the Pa-NJ bridge), and has reasonably priced valet parking ($10 on the day we were there). This alone is a plus since parking is at a premium in this touristy town. Service was good and so were the... More

My wife and I visited Marsha Brown's for our Anniversary Weekend. We have been to New Hope many times and have always wanted to eat here... The ambiance is amazing, the service was over the top (Thanks Carlos) and the food was...WOW! The hostess was very nice and friendly and prepared a wonderful table for us. I have to say... More

This a gorgeous room in old church. Upstairs dining is more formal. Downstairs is more of a bar scene. Even though we got there at 10 p.m., the service was great. We had the jambalaya and the eggplant Ophelia. Both highly recommended. Great authentic Creole. Must go there when in New Hope.

For an expensive restaurant we expected to be wow'ed by the food not just the décor. It's a stunning place with creative dishes. The raw oysters were outstanding hands down one of the best we've had. Drinks are well done and the service is pleasurable and on point. The food although good does not meet at the crossroads with the... More

The menu at this restaurant displays a great variety of choices...set in a renovated church with high ceilings and stained glass ...the food is quite spicy and seems to be authentic Cajun cooking

Marsha Brown's is a New Hope staple with a lovely bar and good food. The upstairs dining room of the old church is beautiful but the acoustics are dreadful. I was there for a weekend dinner and remembered why I hadn't gone upstairs in years- it is completely unsuitable for conversation. I ordered a steak which was excellent but doesn't... More

We dined for our 41st Anniversary and had a wonderful time. Our waiter was such a joy! The service was suburb. The food delicious. We had the crab cake appetizer, Eggplant Ophelia and the Crab cake Entrée. All delicious and most enjoyable. We were surprised with a candle in a dish of sherbet. A perfect end for a perfect meal.

We had a lunch on a warm spring Sunday at Marsha Brown's. The staff was friendly and polite, and there were six of us seated. Our waiters were accommodating and understanding of all the time we spent conversing, didn't try to rush us. The food was good: several people had the Louisiana burger (with hot sauce!) and I had the... More

We're so glad we decided to enjoy a dinner here to celebrate our anniversary. The food was so delicious! Can't wait to go back. Andrew took a special photo of us which was brought to us when we were enjoying our complimentary after dinner drink. Our waiter, Tyler, was very knowledgeable about both the menu and the beautiful building. I... More
