Love this ice cream/snowball place in New Freedom. The ice cream is delicious, the prices are very reasonable and the staff who are all teenagers are extremely friendly. One time, my son accidentally dropped his cone while walking outside and the owner came running out to clean it up, consoled my son and gave him an even bigger ice cream... More

I try to get there every weekend. It's always busy but the line moves fast. Large variety of ice cream and snow balls. Lots of novelty ice cream also. Chocolate covered cheesecake on a stick, yum....

Lots of variety. Good ice cream. Always busy. Recommend snowball parfait. Sundaes are good too. Not much parking nearby.

Bonkeys is unique. Great ice cream served out of an old movie theater in a quaint little down where everyone loves to gather. Soft serve, hand dipped, cones and bowls with flavor and creativity even snowballs. Homemade ice cream sandwiches, great shakes and floats. Fun and friendly servers. Closes promptly at posted time so be early.

Best ice cream in the area. Creative flavors and creations. Never disappoints. Located two blocks from the bike trail and Steam into history railroad caps off a fun visit to this small town.

This is a great place to get dozen's of varieties of custom made ice cream. Bonnie and Keith (Bon-Kei i.e. Bonkey) are wonderful and make all of their ice cream by hand. The are only open from Spring to Fall so you have to get it while it is HOT...

The lines are out the door all summer for good reason. The handmade ice cream and pleasant staff make this one of our favorites. I like to be adventurous and try whatever flavor the owner, Keith, comes up with. Whether it's a cone, cup or milkshake - it's all good.

This locally owned ice cream stop is a favorite among the local families. Bonkey's walk up counter serves ice cream, snow cones, shakes, sundaes made with their very own home-made ice cream. We always look forward to their opening day (usually March) and hate to see them close for the season in October.

Don't miss Bonkey's. It is in an old movie theater lobby. Window service as well. They have all sorts of summer treats. Just like an old soda fountain but without the seats and counter.

Great little ice cream shop, the workers were fun and the Ice Cream is home made and very good. You get A LOT for you money, go with an appetite.
