Impressed during a first visit. Rustic interior. The shrimp spring rolls, lamb meatballs, and fried fish cakes - from the Vietnamese section of the menu - were excellent, and I believe equally agreeable to someone accustomed to traditional American food or those wishing for something a bit more exotic. Pasta with chicken, scallops, and/or shrimp was also great. Wished the... More

Delicious food in an unusual location: an old mill turned into a restaurant and bakery. Quaint and scenic...and small, so you might have to wait for a table. The food, however, is worth the wait.

Charming and busy little restaurant in Milford. Sadly it is only open for dinners Thurs,Fri and Sat so we opted for lunches instead. Friendly staff, good food and a self-guided tour of the water wheel!

Cappucino was divine - perfect with their big, yummy cinnamon roll! Friendly, efficient service and a beautiful setting - you can see the water wheel through a glass wall.

Husband and I stopped by for lunch while site seeing in area. Good selection of different lunch offerings. It's a popular place for the local ladies to lunch and chat. Wonderful dessert selection, too.

We ended up here by accident, tried two other restaurants based on google maps directing us to a 'restaurant close to me'. Both were closed. We lucked out with this restaurant. We enjoyed wonderful service, amazingly flavorful food and drink, and exciting pastries to take home. Zero complaints. Super happy. The entire town is flying rainbow flags, so my girlfriend... More

Situated on the Sawkill Creek, in Milford, PA the Waterwheel Café, Bakery & Bar was started in April of 1989 in a restored 19th century water-powered mill, which is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally built in the early 1800's this lively example of American history is now in action and its doors are open to the public. Water rushes over the three-story high water-wheel, driving a series of shafts, gears, pulleys and belts that once powered the stones & grain-milling equipment, all visible through the glass walls of the Café & Bar. Starting at first as a bakery & lunch café the Waterwheel has grown into a full scale restaurant, bakery and bar-serving breakfast & lunch daily with dinners being served Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings. Waterwheel's customers are comfortable in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. The kitchen staff consistently prepares a fresh and flavorful eclectic menu that excites not only the palate, but the eye as well.
