Sadly, for years, in December I would meet a friend for a pre-Christmas week-end. The reason we chose that Best Western at Hunt's Landing was for the never ending seafood buffet. It was AMAZING. And a lot of fun with a great waitstaff. My husband and I learned, this summer on a trip back from Indiana that they stopped the... More

The dining area was to close at 9pm. We walked in about 7:55 and the hostess/waitress checked the time then said "you're good". I attempted to order the steak, she said nope we are sold out. My husband ordered the lobster so I said I will have the same. She took the order after saying lobsters take awhile to cook.... More

First let me say that I have been going to the buffet since it was in the twenty something range, think it was around $24.00. About a year ago it was $49.95 and looking now, its about $70.00 per person without tip. Now that was the deal breaker for me -- too high price and can't justify that anymore. Couple... More

We've eaten here on New Year's Eve and other special occasions on many occasions, but tonight's lobster buffet will be our last. From the dirty metal pan on our table (to be used for discarded shells), to the waitress's assertion that there were no seafood forks to be had, to the cold lobster (which we had to wait on line... Lobster/Seafood buffet was disappointing. They gave you a list of items available on the buffet & half were missing & replaced with less expensive items. Lines were long, people from a bus tour came in, at least 40 people & it was overcrowded. Atmosphere is old, needs to be updated. Lobster was very good, but at $57.95 it should be.... More

French onion soup and thai wings were great!! Angela, the bartender was very nice and helpful! We were the only people in there, and she was busy getting ready for New Year's Eve crowd, but she was attentive and friendly!

Used to stop at The Dimmick and always enjoyed good food at a fair price with friendly staff. It went downhill after a renovation so we stayed away for a while. This summer friends suggested we try it again to see if it had improved, sadly the answer is no. We gave it a third chance this past Sunday 8/12/12... More

Did not stay at the hotel. Try the lobster fest on Saturday nite. It was the worst $132 I ever spent. Very disappointed, the lobster was tasteless.

I found the food to be plentiful and high quality. I did really only focus on seafood and not alot of the sides. I almost never eat dessert but I splurged. Although not cheap, I believe I did get my moneys worth. My husband, not a big seafood guy did order a steak from the menu, and he loved it.... More
