The Pressroom has aspirations it has yet to completely attain. Remade as a contemporary American with farm-to-table ambitions, a range of small plates, a varied wine list, and a menu that reflect the touchstones of this cuisine, it will now be of interest to those (like myself) who had overlooked it in the past. However, execution remains inconsistent. Highlights of... More

Great environment minus the salty bartender in the back. Extremely dramatic and embarrassing, especially for an event where a significant amount of money has been dropped.. if you don't like your job, get a new one..

Bar seating very uncomfortable, certainly does not keep people sitting long and buying beverages. Booths OK, but very hard to get a reservation or table. Outside seating area around the "waterfall" smells like the chemicals they put in the water to keep it clean, at night anyone can get in there off the street.

My husband and I stopped in for dinner after a show at the Fulton Theater. Morgan, our waiter, was excellent! He was very knowledgeable about the food and was willing to give recommendations when asked. The Bouillabaisse was delicious, ranking as one of the best we have ever had. It was the perfect date with the added bonus of free... More

I chose this restaurant for its proximity to the Ware Center (and good reviews). We were not disappointed. Drinks were excellent. Dinner was delicious - especially the crab bisque, scallops and steak frittes. Free parking with validation is a plus in this busy downtown area. One word of caution - we dined early but as the restaurant filled up so... More

Our family was in the area looking at nearby colleges, and we had the most excellent experience all around the Pressroom. The food was fresh, inspired and crafted with intention. The ambiance is fantastic and we enjoyed a great selection of beer, wine and cocktails. There was even live jazz the night we visited! Our server, Morgan, was full of... More

We enjoyed the fun atmosphere of the Pressroom. We ordered from the bistro menu since we are not big eaters. The fish tacos were good. We also indulged in the Pistachio/Raspberry dessert which was unique.

We had dinner and it was wonderful! Bee was our waitress and she was helpful attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The guacamole was sub par but the homemade cumin chips saved the dish. We also had tuna carpaccio and I put it on the chips.... delectable to say the least. We had drinks and bar service was excellent as... More

We made a last minute reservation via OpenTable while walking down the street. We arrived a little early, but were seated quickly at a terrific table near the window. There was a good beer selection and they made a terrific Mule. We shared the duck fat fries with confit and I had a cup of crab soup. This was enough... More

When going for brunch, there's always a certain feel and atmosphere I imagine and anticipate in the place I will be going. Often times, that expectation is met in a different way than I anticipate however when I visited the Pressroom, the experience matched my expectations. I walked in and the place was bright with natural light and smelled fresh.... More
