Even on a cool and rainy day this restaurant is a pretty and uplifting place to have lunch. The food is excellent and the choices, 'tho not too large, were well prepared and tasty. Service was impeccable even though every table was occupied. Reservations are a must especially in good weather. Enjoy!

We enjoyed our lunch at this gem of a restaurant so much that we returned for dinner. Our server Tina was EXCEPTIONAL--- her attention to detail and recommendations were spot on. Our food was not only delicious, but presented beautifully. We ate on the enclosed porch both times (because we wanted a table with Tina) and as mentioned in another... More

We had lunch after a nice walk in the meadows. The roll was stale and cold. The wine glass was dirty. We had the pear salad with two small pieces of pear in it which was $16 and the chicken sandwich which was not up to a fine dining standard.

We ate outside the atmosphere and the food was very good, It is a bit pricy though. Don't know if it is good for kids.

My friend and I ended up at 1906 by default because the line was too long in the cafe. At the end of our meal, having savored perfectly seasoned, delicious black bean tortilla soup and enjoying the wild arugula and pear salad and its smoked pear viniagrette, we were very happy that our lunch time included this venue. Noreen, our... More

We have eaten at 1906 whenever we visit Longwood as we love the outside dining area and the wonderful food. However this visit was a real disappointment. The service was slow and I almost thought that our server forgot us. After 20 minutes she appeared and told us that they ran out of soup and the chef had to make... More

We ate on the semi enclosed porch deck. The portable heaters are very noisy when on and it gets chilly when they shut off. I had the Salmon and my wife had the red fish (special that evening) both were very good. Started with the mushroom soup which we shared along with a salad with pear slices.. Soup was nice... More
