Glutten free options. Great coffee. Bacon and eggs with a side of tomato, made really nice with fresh baby spinach and fresh herbs.

Pulled into this very pleasant place for coffee and cake and was taken with the old school ambience of the place. Food was delicious and the coffee more than refreshing. Recommend for a visit

Great food and coffee, service friendly but can be slow. Caters to young families with plenty of room for kids to run around and toys for them to play with

The autumn sun warming my back in the school courtyard, fantastic service and the most decadent delicious croque monsieur I've ever had. Don't miss this stop if you are passing through Young.

If you want a sandwich or a toastie or a salad to take away you will have to wait off to the side because they don't do takeaway any faster. Find somewhere else to go. They turned a fifty dollar sale into a four dollar...More

Set in the former Young School, Kettle & Grain is one of Young's most beloved cafes and meeting place! Fully licenced as of January 2017. Relax in the beautiful sunny courtyard or on the verandah and enjoy breakfast, lunch, delicious coffee and homemade cakes Wednesday to Sunday. Open Friday and Saturday evenings with a share-type menu, including gourmet wood-fired pizza straight from our custom made oven. Discover original architecture inside the old classrooms and splashes of modern pieces and artwork in the converted cafe rooms; a fusion of history meets modernisation- country meets urban!
