This is typical pub food experience. A good variety of meals on offer. Peaceful environment on the Clarence River. Pleasant staff and relaxed experience. There were families with kids in tow and there is a great play area for kids. You have to go to...the bar for drinks and can order food from your table if you can use the code thingy on the table. Beyond me. We have been a few times and will be back again.More

Great find for a visitor to Yamba. Great play centre for kids. Good for toddlers too. Food very well priced and decent servings. Drinks good price too. As a visitor to Yamba we searched for a place to go. Driving through residential and this gem...is at the end. Must do for sure if visiting Yamba. Staff are lovely and friendly too and that view! Can't ask for any more.More

We visited the YST several times over the long and busy Easter Weekend here in Yamba. Kirsty and Matt and entire team were excellent & were absolutely flat-out attending to all of their guests. Everyone was efficient, friendly and polite - and we truly appreciate...all of their efforts. The Seafood Platter for Two was divine - scallops, calamari, oysters, prawns and bugs - super fresh and wonderfully displayed. We loved it. Thank you for all of your hard work! The staff at YST are truly exceptional - and of course...those views!!!More

I rang to book a table for 20 people for an engagement party and was told that wouldn't be a worry. I rang later that afternoon to see if we could organise some catering rather than ordering from the menu and I was told that...the person I needed to speak to was currently busy and to ring back in the morning. When I rang back in the morning I was told that this person was still busy and to email her so that she could get back to me when she was free. I got off the phone and did this right away. About a week passed and I still hadn't heard anything so I rang again to be told she was still busy even though I was trying to organise it for the next day now because no one had gotten in touch with me. My group of 20 decided that we would just go order from the menu. Upon arrival we were placed at 2 sperate tables and this was not mentioned to us when making the booking. An engagement party should be the celebration of 2 families coming together, how can they do that at 2 different tables!? When I politely asked if we could bring the tables together we were told that it wasn't possible. I asked if this was dude to covid rules and I was told "no this is our rule'. I was told that they do not move furniture to avoid causing a disturbance in the flow of traffic. Although we were disappointed we were prepared to suck it up and enjoy our night at seperate tables until we seen the same lady who told us that we couldn't change furniture, helping another table to re-arrange furniture. When we asked again, we were told that the 2 tables were the best they could do for us and we all decided to leave and take our business to the maclean bowling club who was more than hospitable and at such short notice too I may add!More

Great place for a few drinks or a feed. Loved the outlook sitting over the water with the river in full view. Food was ok normal pub / tavern style. Very popular for dinner.

Oysters and Mussels were beautiful. Kids meal was filling and other meals looked okay as well. Best to book for lunch so you can get a table by the water and see the dolphins swimming by.
