Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is my local café and I highly recommend it. I’ll go there for a coffee or a meal, by myself or with friends. Very obliging staff, lovely food, great service and it’s good to relax outdoors and see what’s happening on Blackwall Rd.

My Rotary club meet here for a cupa most Thursday mornings. We love the family-owned business and their accommodating staff. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing. The staff even remember our names and our weekly orders. We even know the names of other local weekly...patrons too. The Roasted coffee beans and a flavour to tantalise your taste buds. Definitely worth checking out this great café.More

The friendly service we received this morning was refreshing and welcoming. The base stock here is good quality I’m talking coffee ( strong and smooth ) fresh food My eggs Benny with mushrooms was perfect! Seriously ! And hubby loved the Mediterranean omelette. Condiments include...home made tomato relish - yum and home made capsicum relish equally yum Our table on the elevated verandah was bathed in sunshine and warming on this cold morning. The nana rugs for our laps were a welcome addition.More

Went to this nice little cafe twice during a weekend visit to the area. The first time I went for coffee after completing the local Parkrun and returned the following day for breakfast. Coffee was excellent and the vegetarian omelette was very tasty. Best part...though was the service - super friendly and genuine.More

Visited nearby medical practice. Saw the positive TA reviews of Harwick's, decided to give it a try. Two people, ordered blackboard special of potted pie with chips and a Ruben's toastie with chips, accompanied by a couple of soft drinks. Adequate Covid 19 precautions in...place. Staff seen cleaning vacated tables. With register for patrons. Service very efficient and friendly. Impressed by the fact that the owner/chef/cook approached to check on our satisfaction. We were very satisfied, recommended.More

Fantastic! I've often admired Hardwick's on Blackwall, which is just down the road from one of my customers; today it was time for lunch, so I called in. I really enjoyed the chicken breast with house-made lemon & garlic sauce with garden salad with house-made...dressing, all gluten free. Service was 5 star, being friendly, enthusiastic & knowledgeable. Highly recommended - 5 stars!More

A wonderful place to visit for breakfast, lunch or just a coffee. The food is as brilliant as the wonderful chef and bakers that make it. The wide range to choose from is always refreshing and their ability to accommodate their customers is outstanding. Spend...a day here and you’ll learn of a wonderful cafe, with wonderful staff. Spend every day here for a year and you create wonderful memories and make wonderful friends. 2 years? Well you’re in the family. So thank you to the owners, staff and customers at the Red Lime Cafe for welcoming me to such a wonderful family. A place that can truly be called a home away from home. - The Cafe’s biggest fanMore

Wow! What an amazing little surprise. Pooped in for a lunch date with hubby and it was so good! Family run business with great service and good coffee. The pancakes were fluffy and fresh and I had the breakfast bruschetta. Wow! One of the best...meals I have ever had for this menu item. Avocado, feta, eggs & bruschetta. Ticked all the boxes and could not beat the freshness and flavour. Thank you! We will be back.More

This cafe is a great place. The owners and staff are so friendly. The food is fantastic and the coffee is really nice. (I'm not a big coffee drinker but I could be converted with theirs) ;) The outdoor seating area is nice and spacious...and great for small or large groups. Make sure you check it out next time you pass by it.More
