Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Booked a few bands here last night and what a night it turned out to be. A safe, inclusive spot with a great community spirit. Met so many cool peeps and the host Adam is a proper gentleman. This place is a cafe during the...day and a venue during the night. We’ll worth a visit. I had one of the best nights last night! Love this place!More

It is virtually impossible to go to the Link in the evenings and not meet someone new. The bands are interesting, sometimes loud always enthusiastic often funny. For a quieter experience sit inside or outside during the day in the lovely beergarden. Enjoy burgers etc...coffee or drinks. Not just a cafe- it's a way of life. Get amongst it.More

It was busy understaffed orders were taken down incorrectly. getting the correct order for some of the people on our table was impossible the staff kept on coming back saying it won't be long they check the order arguing with the client whose order was...taking down incorrectly. Then they came over and said the kitchen was closed at 1.30pm. They didn't miss much the bahmi was minus 5. Absolutely terrible. We are still in shock.More

The Link and Pin has original touring and local bands on Fridays and weekends and is proving a haven for music lovers on the Peninsula and indeed on the central coast. Grab a burger, beer, bourbon milkshake or whatevs and settle down for some fun....Check out facebook for what's on.More

Thank you Nadeane and the gang. You are an oasis in an otherwise bleak area of dinning options on the Peninsular. Coffee, tick! Food, tick tick! Atmosphere, tick tick tick!!! Hopefully we can get to the Big Marino gig

Only 4 people in when we got there, so placed our order and waited....and waited....and waited, only to be informed our initial food order was burnt, and was the last one they had ‘of that batch’. We were offered an alternative, and this was ordered,...all before coffee had even arrived. Cappuccino was zero foam and spilt all over the saucer, flat white was weak and tasted like the milk was burnt. Turkish toast was burnt at one end, and the Huervos Rancheros (spelling?) was good combination of flavours, but impossible to eat as it was presented. With everything piled on top of a toasted tortilla, you couldn’t access the tortilla to scoop up the other ingredients. A 10% Weekend Surcharge topped off the painful experience. Will definitely not be going back for a repeatMore

Link & Pin is on a busy road and looks pretty unassuming from the outside but step through into the lovely little courtyard out the back and you’ll feel more like you’re in a garden oasis. The menu consists of old favourites done well. My...partner declared his burger the best he’s had in ages. Given the recent trend to American style burgers with sweet buns, mayo and well done patties it’s a pleasure to find a place that still serves burgers the Australian way with a crunchy bun, a big pattie that’s slightly pink in the centre and served with tomato sauce and mustard. He also declared the coffee to be great. My quesadilla with pulled chicken was also good. Tender chicken and plenty of it. I would have liked to see a bit more chilli in it rather than just a few jalapeños tossed on top, but I’m a chilli fiend and not everyone is. It’s a casual place where you order at the counter. The waitress who bought the food to our table was friendly and helpful, happily going off in search of some chilli sauce for me. I’d happily go back.More
