Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Young Barons at Woy Woy has never failed to blow my mind. Whether it is a quick coffee, a warm, hearty, yet stylish lunch, or a one of a kind grocery stop and shop, i am always amazed with the quality of produce that comes...out of this small Woy Woy pit stop. It is clear the staff and owners are extremely intelligent in the culinary world and everything they do, cook or create in YBs seems to always be above such a high standard. I strongly reccommend making this place a regular stop - or even travelling from Sydney or Newcastle for a perfect lunch. You will NOT be disappointed, and wont leave empty handed!More

My son took me for lunch on Saturday for Mother's Day. We managed to get seats at the lunch bar facing the street. It was busy, and easy to see why! The food was fresh, piping hot, tasty and beautifully presented. The chicken schnitty bun...was juicy and delicious, and the tomato & basil rigatoni was pure ambrosia. i can't wait to go back for some more. So yum!More

Stmbled on this place on the way to the bank. Had driven by in the past during Covid and assumed it was an up market deli - which it is of sorts - but it has a small sit down area and nice courtyard out...the back. Decided to try it out for lunch and was not dissapointed - great coffee, excellent pasta, nice foccacia, reasonably priced with great service. The menu is quite limited but they clearly do what they do very well. My partner was intently checking what other customers were eating and saw several dishes that made her regret her pasta choice until the spaghetti arrived - it really was excellent as she allowed me to share. Will definitely be back to try the other dishes with a great cup of coffee.More

Had a great coffee with dad here the other morning. It’s like an upscale coffee shop for the area. Feels like I’m back in my old neighbourhood of Balgowlah Heights! Love this place. Will be back again I’m sure. Also love the exotic food items...you sell.More

We ducked into Young Barons for a quick bite and coffee, and the coffee and food were so good that we had to stop by a second time. We had the proscuitto and provolone croissant. I had expected it to come toasted, and was a...little bit disappointed when it was presented to me with the cold meat and cheese. I’m not sure if they would have toasted it for me if I asked, but when I took a bite, I didn’t complain anymore. The croissant was buttery and flaky, and it went really well with the proscuitto and provolone. We also had the almond croissant which was so indulgent that I had to get another one to go. The boys loved their hot chocolate and the coffee was great. The place also sells home made pastas, pasta sauces and breads, cheeses, condiments, wines, chocolates, etc. It’s quite small and you’d be forgiven for thinking that there is no place to sit and eat but you just have to go through the store and off to the side are a few tables and chairs. This place attracts a lot of customers, most of whom just order and go. This place is a gem and I can imagine it’s frequented by the locals.More

Excellent Breads & Pastries - Great Selection of Produce. Croissants, sfogliattelle, Portuguese tart excellent. Coffee was ok. Would have been 5 star had the service been friendly. If you don’t mind your service a little cold then it’s a must to visit.

This used to be a lovely little restaurant pre covid and has morphed into a cafe/ deli during the pandemic. They have fortunately maintained the integrity of the produce and service and in some respects raised the bar even higher. The wine selection is varied...and interesting, the service pacey and friendly and the food has real depth of flavour signalling someone in the kitchen with real experience and integrity. Great coffee and delicious tiramisu to round off a great lunch. Great selection of quality deli items pastries, bread and pasta to tempt you on the way out. One tiny criticism is the very limited menu although I am assured it changes regularly, just as well as I am planning on regular visitsMore
