Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Still a little bit quirkey, but really good fresh food. Less emphasis now on clothes etc, now more a food focus. Really enjoyable.

Next Phase blends the shopping & cafe experience together. Homewares & fashion in the front & a gorgeous little tea house in the back. I took a heap of my mums friends there for her 80th birthday for High tea. All the ladies had a wonderful time with both the experience & food delightful.

A little shop with lovely gifts and individual clothing items, and a super nice cafe for coffee and lunch at the back of the shop. It is a bit like stepping back in time with lovely decor and atmosphere. Quiet, comfortable and unique offering quiches, pies and vegetarian lunch options with salads and very good coffee. Apparently the cornets are excellent but we did not have room for dessert. Awesome customer service, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The Next Phase is a beautiful restored old Drapery Shop that has been a part of Woolgoolga history since I was a little girl. They make yummy morning teas and light lunches all made on the premises. Beautiful organic coffee and you can browse the shop for latest fashions and accessories. Must visit.

I organised a high tea for a surprise birthday present for my mum and a few of her friends and the ladies were absolutely wonderful. The food was fantastic and mum and friends were very well looked after. Thank you

Where else can you clothes shop, candles, moisturises, handbags and general decorating items for the home and then the best bit is the coffee shop. The kit Kat cronuts are to die for. Freshly made on the premises and coffee is great too. Service is outstanding. We have been back twice for the full experience and then took our caravanning friends for morning tea. You guys are the best.

What a jewel! Fantastic items in store and delicious milkshakes and cronuts, you need to make a trip to try these, you won't regret it BUT get there early because they sell out fast!

I booked high tea here in Woolgoolga, Iwas asked to give 3 days notice so they could prepare things. Well, we were not disappointed. Everything was lovely. The sandwiches were fresh and tasty, the quiche was very tasty, the scones so fresh and light. Then we had Ferraro Roccha cheesecake oh my it was divine. The carrot cake had to come home with us. We were given English breakfast tea but also Iced Pinna Colada Tea and warm Lemon Myrtle tea. Home made jam and pickles.

Wonderful little dress shop with a delightful cafe in the back. The coffee and food are excellent and the decor of the cafe grandma would love, pretty cups and saucers, dollies and fine china. A real lovely little place to have a catch up with the girls or just to take quite moment to yourself.

I just love this cute little cafe at the rear of the shop. The service is fantastic with super friendly staff and owner all the time. You can choose to sit on a lounge with a coffee table or standard (very cute though) table and chairs. Today I had a piece of quiche and it was delicious I really could speak better about next phase. Everything is always fresh and tasty with heaps of dietary requirements also getting covered. A friend and I went in not too long ago and had a "freak shake" each, well thank goodness I hadn't had anything to eat prior as I would never had gotten through it. It was yummy but a bit too over indulgent for my liking, I would however recommend trying one for yourself it will be worth it. I love Next Phase.

An excellent, quiet place to unwind with friends. Great scones with jam and cream. In addition to the cafe, there is also a retail area selling various items of clothing and accessories. The service is provided by friendly, efficient staff. All in all, I recommend a visit for a reasonably priced and delightful experience.

On a winter day, with the wind too chilly to be on eating outside, what better place to be than The Next Phase? This eatery is THE destination if you are looking for well cooked treats and lunches. Their Chef cooks wonderful quiches, pies, soups and frittatas for lunch and scrummy cakes and enormous scones for Devonshire Teas (might have missed some of the offerings). I have it on good authority that the coffee was excellent but as a tea person, I was thrilled to get a china pot with loose leaf tea, accompanied by cup and saucer - bliss. There is also a shop in the front that sells clothes, hats, other accessories and gifts. The day we were there it was really hopping as the Grafton races were on the next day and ladies were looking to glam up. Next door is a second hand bookshop which is always worth a look. Parking always available either in front or in the side street.

Attracted by the sign for second hand books, we dropped into discover a real quality find. The book shop is just a small part of a much larger enterprise consisting of high quality clothing and household 'Nick nacks' together with a charming coffee shop. So we stopped for the mandatory coffee and cake and the gluten free options on offer were terrific. I had a delicious concoction of cashew nuts, dates, avocado with a dash of lime; it looked like a mini cheesecake and was very tasty indeed. We were engaged in a welcoming conversation with a lady we assume is the owner and who put us at our ease. After our coffee exploring the bookshop was a revelation: it is much bigger than the exterior would suggest and has a great variety of books, DVDs, CDs and some really fine and collectable old vinyl. You need to take time to appreciate this establishment properly!
