First visit since the name and chef change, and the 'tapas' menu was average at best. Satay chicken skewers were flavourless and boiled, taste steak came out last with a salad that was inedible.
Expectations need to be tempered as there is not much in...Wollombi, but this was poor at best, shame.More
I was amazed with the interior it seemed I was in a dreamland. Super friendly staffs, great coffee, the orange cake was best orange cake I have ever had and the scones were amazingly fresh just out from the oven. Most importantly the service was...fantastic and they were open on a New Year day!More
This is our second visit to this cafe and it was just as good as the first time. The house burger is worth the drive with it being a fantastic meal. The salads are freshly prepared and getting a veranda table just tops off the...whole experience.More
In the gorgeous little village this cafe offers friendly efficient service a and great food with veg options - we had the haloumi burger sitting on the verandah overlooking trees and village. Keep up the great work Myrtle House - great food, good prices and...clean cafe
Waited over 30 mins for coffees and banana bread. There was little acknowledgment and no apology for being late. In a small town that calls out its great coffee this is ridiculous. There would be more patience given if it was busy but at least...50% of the tables were full.
Poor experience all round.More
Looking for a relaxing bite to eat we visited Myrtle House and quickly felt at home. The staff were so welcoming and they even have a book stall with new and pre-loved classics to buy. We had scones with jam and cream and were delighted...when they came out because they had just been cooked. They were literally from oven to table. Well worth your visit.More
