The Thai we had was really good and great value for a family of 6. The Beef Massaman and Pad Thai were the favs.

Enjoyed good lunches. Not overly large servings, so not overwhelming to get through, but very tasty. A nice beer garden, sadly flanked by a smoking area...eeww!

I was there on January 1st. Very glad it was open, because they are good. Very good. Service and meal.

Stopped in here on the way out west and order the barramundi and salad, plus a chicken burger for the boy. Barra was cooked just right with fresh salad and chips (perfect) and the lad was more than happy with his burger. Did I say...the chips were great? Beer was cold, we stayed for one more and left satisfied.More

Was recommended to eat at this pub. Ordered 3 parmas & a schnitzel, all were dry & barely edible. Parmas came with bacon instead of ham - are you serious!!! Salads looked days old & none of us ate them. Chips were good. On a...positive note, service was good, meals were delivered quickly & drinks were reasonably priced. Based on the food experience I don't think I'd return.More

Excellent service by friendly barman and honestly the coldest drinks for the best price EVER! One Chardonnay (oyster bay) served in nice glassware and a frosty corona for just $11 per round. For the first time in a long time I didn’t need to ask...for ice to put in my wine - bliss! Cheers!More

Can always get a good meal at the Metropolitan Hotel. The meals are a good size and a good variety on offer. My favourite would be the lamb cutlets. The beer is always cold.

The restaurant smelt of cigarette smoke! Not good! Ordered 2 x scotch filet steaks, one was ok the other was 1/3 fat and was ordered med-we’ll done. But when we got it, it was still pink. The veggies were very over cooked to the point...of soggy. The steak was placed on top of the chips and they also went soggy. The garlic bread was a packet job and cut into small sections. Ordered a lemon, lime and bitters which is NOT lemon squash and bitters! Overall very poor! This was recommended by a motel operator, won’t be going back there sorry!More

Chicken schnitzel was only just gut fill.... gravy is way under standard, completely flavourless as was the chicken. I elected for the salad.... all were partly decomposed when it landed on our table, R.I.P tomato, cucumber, cheese and onion. Sadly I can’t recommend the food...here if you are looking for something sumptuous. Up sides..... Quick service and meal to table. Meal was hot. Chips were okay. Reasonably priced. Probably won’t be rushing back.More

We called into the Metro 2 yrs ago and enjoyed such a lovely meal we just had to return when we were passing through. Once again our meals were delicious. I had the Barramundi and my husband had a yummy steak burger with the lot....Thank you to the lovely cook, we'll be back.More

A friendly, comfortable pub with very nice meals. The Cheese & Bacon Garlic bread is a must! Great outside eating area. Family friendly.
