perhaps only accomadation near main street, renovated motel type rooms at budget price, but management not fully aware of issues , broken appliances, bent keys, shower screen door faulty, access to rooms via very steep stairs, very busy re food ordering, chicken burger not quite a high score, told me only one room left but later asked if i wanted another room re faulty airconditioner, also shared tiolets upstairs that could be better maintained and re stocked

Wed night is steak-night specials… you can’t look past the $27 rib-on-the-bone special. With a modest, fresh garden salad and a generous serving of chips. You can swap the sides… this may or may not become extra.
As is the becoming the norm, sauces are extra… $4, and sadly no mustards available.
If you like your protein’s well seasoned, ask for “well-seasoned”!

Went for dinner on a Monday night and ordered the Monday Steak Night special for $25. It was terrible and not even worth the discount price.

Started out with great service wasn't to busy when we arrived, sure got busy as night went on..Ordered our Scotch Fillet chips n Veg, Lamb cutlets and veg....40 mins later finally came, hubby said steak was great, one cut/bite of my broccoli 🥦 it was raw,(i.like mine just cooked, this was nowhere near cooked) then my corn go to have a bite stone cold and wet like it just came out of the fridge, cutlets over well over cooked , no mash which I found odd, guess they ran out as guy behind us had mash.
(maybe why they thought I was Peter Rabbit and needed my veggies)... Sticking the fork into cutlets was enough, hard and dry...so I called waitress over and told her..she apologised and took it back ten mins later Id say same cutlets, hard n dry broccoli still hard at least corn n carrots were edible but $25 to eat corn n carrots isn't acceptable..ii have only ever complained about a meal.once before, that was chicken Kiev raw in the middle, not only once but twice...)
Up your game.guys, if I pay $25 for d meal I expect it to be decent and edible same as if I spent $100 give me what I paid for....to the girls on the flood you deserve five stars...Shame the kitchen let the whole review down....

The Thai we had was really good and great value for a family of 6. The Beef Massaman and Pad Thai were the favs.

Enjoyed good lunches. Not overly large servings, so not overwhelming to get through, but very tasty. A nice beer garden, sadly flanked by a smoking area...eeww!

Stopped in here on the way out west and order the barramundi and salad, plus a chicken burger for the boy. Barra was cooked just right with fresh salad and chips (perfect) and the lad was more than happy with his burger. Did I say the chips were great? Beer was cold, we stayed for one more and left satisfied.

Was recommended to eat at this pub. Ordered 3 parmas & a schnitzel, all were dry & barely edible. Parmas came with bacon instead of ham - are you serious!!! Salads looked days old & none of us ate them. Chips were good.
On a positive note, service was good, meals were delivered quickly & drinks were reasonably priced.
Based on the food experience I don't think I'd return.

Excellent service by friendly barman and honestly the coldest drinks for the best price EVER!
One Chardonnay (oyster bay) served in nice glassware and a frosty corona for just $11 per round. For the first time in a long time I didn’t need to ask for ice to put in my wine - bliss! Cheers!
