My daughter and I visited Cafe 2283 today. We were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who seated us promptly. The coffee was very good as was the mocha. My daughter had the mushroom crepe which came with chips and salad for $20. Crepe was very tasty and meal was generous size wise. I had the bruschetta which was also a generous serve for $12. Will we go back? Definitely! 😊

Breakfast is very good. Coffee is excellent in a way they will try their hardest to brew the perfect brew for you. Can’t go past the breakfast menu either. Eggs as requested. Book or get there early for a table. This is a busy cafe.

Great little cafe, such a nice vibe with friendly waitresses.
The food is lovely and a nice variety, the coffee is up there with the best I’ve had.
The owner even brought some wooden cafe toys for my kids to play with. Such a nice touch. Keep up the good work guys we will be back!

We visited this cafe at 1.35 on a Saturday. Plenty of people were still eating . We sat outside at an uncleared table.!Waited for 5 minutes then I went inside to check if there was table service. I was told there was so I sat back down. A few minutes later a waitress wandered out and told us they stopped serving food at 1.45 It was 1.46!!! Appalling service. Go to the cafe down the road. Double take. Better service and better food

Me and my daughter went in for breakfast one weekend and I got the Eggs Florentine. The bacon was crispy and eggs were just right. It was hard to choose from that menu it all sounded good! My daughter loved her thick shake as well, just the right consistency. It also wasn't very expensive, what a bargain! We will definitely be going back!

I go there for breakfast regularly. Their breakfast oats and fruit compote are excellent and the coffee is always good. They have an extra large which I really like. Their toasties and lunch specials are excellent. Staff are good fun and competent too. A good combination and if you’re quick you can get the Herald to read with your coffee.

Been a few times, used to be great but it's gone down hill. New owners past year or so? The coffee is average in a town with so many other options. This just isn't it. Food looked alright but the prices aren't in line with the competition. Why would I try when there doing the same as others but charging more? I thought how could a coffee go wrong but here we are. You don't have to burn the milk. It did nothing wrong.

OMG OMG OMG, this was our third time back, and booked for Mothers Day, food and coffee OMG, a few little errors from staff, forgot a juice when we got our other drinks? and a little slow for the food to come out this time, but overall it still great!

We went here for a family lunch last Friday and was delicious we had Barrumundi and chips and seafood crepe lovely staff and friendly service we will be back

For a5star meal or breakfast don't miss 2283 cafe. Fantaztic meals and quality food. Nothing is to much trouble. Staff excellent. You can sit outside with close views of the water.
