Had an amazing meal here on a Sat night. Definitely need to book during peak season on weekends. The Salmon Gravlax and Trout with pomegranate seeds was probably one of the nicest meals I've had all year.

Had a great dinner hear with friends. Food was excellent and despite being very full service was pretty good. Try the cocktail designed by the resident mixer "Hot Buttered Beer".

I have eaten at the Terrace restaurant a few times and have enjoyed it immensely every time. The atmosphere is relaxed and softly lit. The last time I ate there was with 12 friends and none of us had food envy - all the dishes...More

Hi we would like you to know what kind of restaurant you have in Front of your establishment . I know it has nothing to do with you but. Here we Go. . Status Photo/Video Life Event What's on your mind? . News Feed Paul Orman 12 mins · . Well what a disaster our Anniversary Dinner was. We had planned this for quite some time and reminded the restaurant on Friday that we are coming for our special dinner. After a massive hike up the mountain to Kosciusko we had worked up an appetite to feed an army. We arrived at 7pm as arranged . We were seated at out table then and were given a bottle of water about 10 minutes later. At that time we were asked if we wanted to order pre drinks, we ordered a wine and a beer. Then they asked about 5 min after that if we would like to make our order . Yes was the answer . So we ordered . Half hour later we got our entre and still no pre dinner drinks. When another waiter came around we asked her if she could get us our drinks and she said no worries. (Well) we got the wrong wine and the right beer, Then we had our entre and had finished our drinks . We then ordered another drink thinking our mains was not far away. Again we waited for another half hour and NO Bloody drinks. In the mean time another couple had walked in and ordered a main only and got theirs in about 40 minutes. That was the last Straw . I asked the couple if it was their mains and they said yes . So over 2 hours had passed and no mains and 2 drink orders not fulfilled. Kim and I went up to the main counter and said that we were leaving and we are not paying for our entre or the drinks we got an hour later. The waiter said i'll just check to see what happened . He said i'm sorry but we don't know what happened . I then told this wanker that I had ordered the meal from him , I had twice ordered drinks from him and there was no excuse for such bad service. Do you know what he had the cheek to say . If you come back again we will look after you. WTF. I said no F--- way would we come back , they had ruined our Anniversary dinner . The restaurant is The Terrace . Please share this if you like . Then we were so hungry that we tried to go to other places even trying to settle for a Pizza but no they have just closed . We tried everywhere all kitchens were closed. We then went to the door of a Resturant called The Churrasco restaurant , it is a Brazilian inspired restaurant. They told us the kitchen was closed , but said they would ask their Chef if he could do a meal for us. The waiter came back and said he would. Well we ordered our food and was in and out in 40 minutes , now that's service , we will be there next time we come up here for a weekend. We thanked them and tipped them nicely for looking after us with such late notice . we had arrived there at 9.30pm . Now back at the Motel Snowgoose Apartments , who are also very good at good service. My little Rant for the day Cheers Kim And Paul
