Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What an absolute pleasure it was to enjoy the finest level of service combined with the most deliciously crafted food and interesting well priced wines in this beautifully located fine dining restaurant. We have enjoyed lunch on the Sun drenched deck overlooking the magnificent ocean...vista and also dinner in the tastefully designed dining room. If you have not been before, do yourself a favour! In these times of increasingly inconsistent dining experiences this gem of an eatery restores one's faith in what a privilege and pleasure eating out can be. Sincere thanks to all the team. We'll be back.More

Went for my birthday whilst visiting family in Australia and it did not disappoint! We started with a couple of glasses of the very good champagne along with the twice baked soufflé and the scallops and both dishes were excellent, with the soufflé just winning...out For mains we went for the confit toothfish which was cooked well and had a lovely yuzu sauce and the slow cooked wagyu beef cheeks which were rich and full of flavour and melted in the mouth, an absolutely stunning plate of food. We also had the roasted sprouts which were an absolute revelation, made with anchovy and lemon dressing, best side dish I’ve had 8n a long time. We finished with the classic crème brûlée and some ice cream which were both great, but we probably did not enjoy them as much as we should have as we were so full. Also important to say that they have a very good quality and extensive wine list, including coravin wines by the glass It’s a lovely restaurant with great staff and lovely views over the water and it does some excellent French classics, an absolute must do in TerrigalMore

Recommended by a French friend, we dined on exquisite food and wine by the glass at this gastronomic haven in Terrigal. How can anybody resist the soufflé ai fromage?! So delicious I wanted More! I decided to try the smoked eel tarte entree for my...second course as it intrigued me. Sensational! Subtle complex flavours. That didn’t preclude me from tasting some of my husband’s filet de boeuf and pommes purée. Silky and flavoursome. We shared the rhum baba that was pleasantly swimming in rum. Accompanied by fragrant French wines. Superbe! The staff too for that matter. Highly recommended.More

The gluten free souffle was too die for. The staff are super cool. The only complaint is that the souffle isn't a main, it's so delicious I'd love more.

Four of us had an excellent dinner. Could not fault the food or the service team. The duck was perfectly cooked, beer cheeks melt in mouth and both delicious with a very nice bottle of gamay Add well spaced tables, in a nice setting, with...views of the beach, making it a very enjoyable eveningMore

Could not speak highly enough about our experience. Beautiful food including octopus, Lobster and Duck. Reasonably priced for the cuisine and service was outstanding. Can't wait to come back and our host Bernard was a thorough gentleman. Pleasure to recommend.

Food, atmosphere and service were top notch. Very pricey but great for special occasions. Lovely relaxing location overlooking the ocean. Have been here 3 times now and found it excellent each time.

A truly delightful experience. I took my heavily pregnant wife there for her birthday last week. The food was excellent. But the service was even better. The waiter took his time and went through every item on the menu to make sure that she could...eat it.More

Worth every minute of the 8 hours we drove! We are in Terrigal for a 90th this weekend & googled best restaurants & found this absolute gem! Informed, polite, non fussy and attentive staff (great to see a number of young locals working here &...doing fantastic work!), incredibly good amazing even food and delicious wines. To be honest one of the best meals I have had in over 20 years the food coming out of the kitchen was technically incredible but more importantly absolutely delicious if you are looking for a special dining experience this is it. It’s not cheap that’s true but it’s worth every cent and the sommelier has the knowledge to pair a glass of wine with each course that will take the whole experience to the next level. I’d drive 8 hours to have dinner here and go home the next day it was that good! My dining pick would be Cheese Soufflé entree then beef cheek for main and the crème brûlée for dessert get the wines in the photos with the white for the soufflé the red for the beef and finish off with a double espresso. Leave happy , content & understanding that any meal following will be hard to beat the one you just had!!!!More

Our first time here. So long since we've eaten food on the Central Coast that tasted so good. "The duck was amazing," said the birthday girl. And such helpful and professional guidance from the staff turned the whole experience into unforgettable. We'll be back.

Yes we are, we have a special kid’s menu online, and all tables are purposely covered in white paper to allow for budding artists’ practice over dinner.

The restaurant is an upmarket eatery with white table cloths and napkins, and it's mainly inside, so it would not be dog friendly.
