Always a great place for a family meal. Great food including local Oysters and seafood. Wines of very high standard, that are very affordable, and great sea views on the deck.

I was really disappointed when I ordered a hamburger . It was not cooked properly. When I complained to the manager he said that on the menu it is listed as “medium” This could mean medium size! I have never heard of a medium cooked...hamburger. It is unappetising and possibly unhealthy.More
This hotel has been recently renovated and is a beautiful place with magnificent views. Good atmosphere and there was live music the night we came. Food was good although I would have preferred a garlic bread to the German pretzel we did choose. All good...though and friendly staffMore
October Fest lunch. Any one who has been to or lived in Germany like me would be upset with your "Sauerbraten". Its was nothing better than a tough tasteless pot roast. If you want to do international cooking you will have to do better.
Undercooked very oily calamari and parma, we couldn't eat it as it was making us feel ill. We told the guy who served us and asked for a refund as we ate less than a quarter of the meal, he rudely said no with no...apology. We will not be back.More
Amazing pub - views, atmosphere, food, staff - particularly management, and the BEER! Stayed in Tathra for 7 chilex nights and dined out at the pub every night. If you appreciate great food/are adventurous - must try octopus and sausage!! Delish food and caters for...all tastes - good value for the portions...every meal great presentation. Sunday roast is yum. Thank you all at Tathra Pub/Tathra Hotel bistro. A&J (Canberra)More
Nice to have a fireside meal. Calamari was recommended and was good. Generous serving, lightly battered. Nice salad. Calamari not rubbery. Recommend.
Great find . Their black beer gets a thumbs up. Great atmosphere. Has a pool table. Food not cheap ! Very nice layout great deck
Lovely lunch today. Marsala chicken and barramundi specials tasty and good value. Porter from brewery also great. Appreciated matre de coming around tables checking if meals were satisfactory.
Had lunch here on our way through Tathra and the area - the pub itself is really nice inside, beautiful design and we sat in the outdoor area which was really nice also. The food was fast and tasted great. Liked this place and would...definitely recommend.More
Beautiful setting, friendly staff and the food was great. Would recommend for anyone to go there, you won’t be disappointed.
really nice food and quite extensive menu, we were 16 and all very happy. they have a lot of craft beers made on the premises, which are ok, if u like craft beer. draft regualr pub beers would also be nice for theise who dont...particularly like craft beers.More
Food was excellent plenty of variety and great Brews. The seafood was fresh and very enjoyable. We had the Lamb Chops cooked very well.
Went for dinner at the Tathra Hotel with some friends. Tried booking a week before but the restaurant inside was completely booked our. Was given the option of arriving early and getting a table out on the deck which what we did. Luckily it had...been a nice day and was quite comfortable out on the deck. Listened to one of the live bands playing which was great Fantastic venue with great ocean views. At times there were long lines for drinks and to order meals but by the time we ordered the line wasn't that long and the meals arrived within a reasonable time. I had the Fish and Chips which was very nice. Everybody else enjoyed their meals and were very happyMore
Had fried fish and chips but never again. Allegedly called fish of the day but it was clearly some frozen thing out of the freezer aisle at Cole’s. A bulk pack I assume. The batter however was great so they’re doing something ok here, just...not the fish. Pretty expensive too. I wish I’d sent it back. People seemed to be enjoying the beers though. Oysters not bad but pricey! $46 for a for a dozen natural. Geez. Don’t go for the food.More
