Food was extremely ordinary. Menu items were over priced. My grilled chicken burger on turkish bread was extremely over priced. Definitely not worth $18.50 for four small pieces of grilled chicken, a tiny bit of bacon, two slices of tomato and some iceberg lettuce on...a turkish bread roll with some mayonnaise. Wouldn't go back. I have eaten way better meals in small country outback towns.More

Came here for regular big brekkies and milkshakes for the kiddos. The owners were super friendly and accommodating, making us feel more than welcome. Food was quick and yummy! Ambience was so peaceful with the most relaxing view. They even provided food for the boys...to feed the local fish down below the deck and the boys loved it! Thank you for a very memorable and charming experience! We will definitely be back!More

Nice spot, nice enough staff, building / decor needs an update. Food quite average & took a while to come, perhaps short staffed in the kitchen. They ran out of several items on the menu which is fine but I’d suggest telling people when providing...menus so they don’t get disappointed when going up to the counter to order. In summary, could be much better & was disappointed.More

This place has so much potential - it’s a really nice setting with great views over the water. If it wasn’t for the food, we would be back regularly. The avo smash special had just enough avo on it to colour the bread green -...I don’t even know how they spread it so thin, probably from a tube. To add insult to injury, we were informed they had run out of sourdough for it and offered Turkish bread instead (no problem) - then a few minutes later another staff member came and asked us to pay extra for the Turkish because ‘the bread is bigger’ - I mean what??? Even the people at other tables who overheard this commented how ridiculous it was given we never asked for Turkish - it was literally offered as the only alternative because the cafe had run out of sourdough! This, on top of the smashed avo being $18 in the first place for what was a total rip off…More

We met family for lunch as they had a live singer and thought it would be fun. The staff were amazing taking two of the children away to feed the fish and ducks. The service great and the good amazing. The singer was fantastic. When...leaving we had a quick chat with the owner who was so friendly and happy. Was a great experience overall with amazing atmosphere and happy staff who appeared to love working there and interacting with guests. If this seems over the top well it should be. Great to be out and having these great experiences once again. Cheers EmanuelMore

Found this little gem last week. Location amazing right on the water an Australian boat shed run by Australians. Food lovely, fresh seafood ,great burgers ,hot chips, kids meals high chairs ect. Ross his wife and staff are great and all take the time to...say hello. The host even throws in a free 2 man band at various time slots. The best venue for Australia Day when we visited for the second time you can even phone ahead and book takeaway and pull up in your boat and pick it up. Like I so said a gem we will definitely back.. Thanks Ross and crewMore

Food took 50 minutes to arrive after ordering and while the food was “okay”, for a $20 burger and schnitzel, it was nothing special. Next time I’m in the area I’ll be looking at alternative options. Shame as it

Fantastic location. Worth a visit just for that. Food was good, standard fare but acceptable. Somewhat pricey as well. Long wait though which was odd considered the number of staff and as the cafe was half full. The staff however were very attentive - particularly...the young blokes who were a credit to themselves and the owners of the business. Worth a visit for the view, the food a secondary thoughtMore

Great location with a lot of potential. Needs renovating and more motivated staff. It is very basic with a gorgeous view. We were greeted by a young gentleman who was very friendly, who guided us to our table, but when we ordered it was almost...an inconvenience. Breakfast menu is very limited, consisted of a variety of bacon and eggs. We had the ‘breakkie special’ which was Avo Smash, which didn’t even have fresh avocado. Food was very disappointing, lacked flavor also. Coffee was average. Wouldn’t visit again, we were recommended to this place by a local and we hired push bikes to ride down there specifically.
