Great food mostly good service

As always the food here was exceptional, however, i was really disappointed with the service, particularly the coloured hair girl who was quite aggressive. We spent a substantial amount of money and she was angry and passive aggressive. This unfortunately made our time here less enjoyable

Nice food. Great drinks but won’t be back because of restricting rules

The food was nice although def not authentic Mexican, service efficient. However… having to put a $50 deposit on our online booking was not cool, but did it anyway. I have never known a restaurant to do that, and only having 90 minutes at the table??? We were half way through our food and half a jug of Sangria and were told we had 9 minutes left! We spent a fair amount of money on entrees, mains and drinks, to be told we have to leave. As locals we won’t be back, plenty of other places in our beautiful street that welcome you and let you stay and enjoy your meal and drinks.

Good Mexican But....

My wife and I both enjoyed our food. Not excellent. But very good for sure. The biggest disappointment was definitely the Margaritas, as KateL said in her review they are definitely made using a mix. Seriously?!! Come on guys buy a bottle of triple sec and some limes, do your selves and your margarita loving costumers a favour!!!! Big disappointment. Otherwise service was attentive and food was good, probably go back and have a sangria this time.

‘We are too busy to take orders at the counters’

It was Friday, reasonably busy so my wife and I asked for a menu for a takeaway. We provided with one. We both proceeded to pick what we wanted. Wife then walked up to counter to place order, at this point she was informed that given they are ‘so busy’ they are unable to take orders at the counter and you have to do it online. Truly remarkable! Why was not this informed to us at the point of giving us a menu?? At a time when restaurants are keen to attract customers in these times of covid, Lime clearly feel otherwise. My recommendation to others is to avoid.

Very popular and very good too

I was surprised just how popular this place was, especially mid-week. We couldn't even get in on a Tuesday! We came back on a Thursday and I have to say, the tacos were very very good. It is a shame that you can't mix and match as an individual, so 3 of us just ordered 3 different types and shared them so we got one of each.

Now, firstly I understand the current covid issues, staffing/space/etc, that being said, every Christmas/NY period this place is closed more than it is open. Not just this year, but every year it is closed Sundays, Mondays and Public Holidays. Surely the costs of opening Sundays & public holidays could be offset with 10/15% ph surcharge or taken into account when doing costings the rest of the year? When it is opened, the food, its Mexican, so pretty hard to bugger that up, so it's good. Service- inconsistent, very hard to order a 2nd or 3rd drink and other reviews reflect the attitude of some of the staff.

We were excited to go to Lime as it had great reviews. Margaritas were a huge disappointment, seemed to made from a mix, not fresh tasting at all, and for $16! The food was mixed, some dishes were good some very ordinary. Probably would not go back

A group of friends attended dinner- almost didn’t book due to credit card deposit requirement (completely understandable during COViD rebuild maybe not so much now considering how many people we watched being turned away). Ordering process very efficient. Corn yummy and meals are of good quality with a few gluten free options. Single bill payment allowed which is great.

Great food, poor staff attitude!

Got takeaway from this place and when going up to order our dinner, we were advised by the waitress that we would need to order via the QR code/online as she doesn’t have time to service takeaway customers! While the attitude of the staff member was disappointing, the food didn’t disappoint. Good size servings and great tasting food, although the chips served with the nachos were fried and it would have been perfect if they weren’t. That was my only fault with the food! Whilst I get that the restaurant can get busy, any customer should be welcomed regardless of dine in or Take away!

Visited as we had noticed good amount of gf options. Food was great. Nachos were the best I’ve had from a Mexican restaurant. No Doritos subbed in here. Sangria needs work as it’s basically juice at $10 a glass. But the food is definitely worth booking for

A bit of a hidden gem

Nice large restaurant that was always full when we went by. Booked in with no issues and reserved a table. No issues with the deposit to secure a table as this should be normal these days for patrons. It really helps the restaurant with no shows where they could get some customers. Food was normal Mexican - wife like the surf and turf burrito. Kids enjoyed their nachos, but all the extras can add up. Staff were very friendly and accomodating, and always around if you wanted anything.

BEST MEXICAN EVER

On a road trip from canberra and randomly decided to go here. BEST DINNER EVER. Funny waiter too, great service. Also fun water jugs. Could NOT recommend more. If you want a phat feed go here, no joke best Mexican I’ve eaten (hence why I’m leaving a review).

First visit spoiled by rude waiter

The drinks waiter, emrah, came to our table, which we had booked, and we told him we were having trouble ordering with the QR code on the table. He had a quick look at my friends phone then grudgingly said he could take our drinks order but they were short staffed and there were a lot of people in the restaurant before us and we were probably “just walk ins”! We told him we had booked the table, we were trying to find what we wanted on the paper menu and in the end we only ordered one drink as he seemed anxious to leave our table. We are 2 locals and the manner of this waiters service left much to be desired. Jess’ service on the other hand was impeccable. It’s only thanks to her that we didn’t leave before ordering our food.

Lovely local with very diligent COVID safe practices

Had a lovely dinner here last week - the menu is extensive, with a good range of veg options, and to cater to different levels of hunger. The service is lovely - warm and friendly. They are also clearly being very diligent about being COVID safe, with online menus, good management of space and people waiting, and thorough cleaning of tables and chairs
