Cafe Treeo sits beneath the iconic fig trees on Sawtell’s main street and has been a local favourite since 2011. Treeo boasts relaxed coastal interiors, friendly service and there’s plenty of alfresco dining to enjoy the village vibes. In addition to superb coffee from esteemed roasters Will&Co, and an extensive all-day breakfast & lunch menu, Treeo is also fully licensed with a great range of craft beer, wine & cocktails.

Fantastic value for money

Delicious meals, great service, even though there was no room inside at lunch, the other door heater was lovely. Great coffee. Bathroom was spotless. Even got a spot to tie the fur baby. As always was not disappointed even though our last visit was 9 months prior. Parking is not always easy out front, but there's always parking down side streets and behind the complex Meals ordered, big breakfast, GF corn fritters and pancakes.

Absolutely excellent food and service!

We came here for brunch on the way to the Gold Coast from Sydney on 2nd of January. When we arrived at 11am the place was packed but they said that they'd have a table (for all 9 of us) in about 10 minutes. When we came back the table was ready. The waitress was very friendly and took our orders quickly. The food came out after only about ten minutes and all orders were correct and absolutely delicious! I will definitely visit here again! Highly recommended!

Yummy fruit toast great coffee

We had the macadamia fruit toast with blueberries, honey & ricotta was delicious and generous serve. The scrambled eggs were great also food portions are very generous and the coffee was great. Nice little breezy cafe nicely decorated.

Great cafe with yummy homemade treats

Cafe Treeo is a lovely modern cafe with a great menu and a warm and friendly atmosphere. Lovely home baked treats were being brought out by the chef as I was waiting for my coffee. I sampled a delicious “Butterbing” which was to die for.

Lovely cafe. Highly recommend.

Delicious food. Friendly, attentive service. We arrived and the cafe was full. We were a large group (5 Adults 1 infant). We were seated within 5 mins. When we ordered we made slight alterations to the menu with nil issues. Food arrived very quickly considering how busy they were. Everyone in the group was very happy with their food Note - the cafe is wheelchair accessible with plenty of room to manoeuvre.

Vegan masterpiece

Stopped in for a Vegan Breakfast but I couldn’t decide between the Berry granola bowl and the Green bowl (a delightful problem when there are still so many places that offer one or no options for pesky vegans such as myself) The Green bowl ended up being such a good choice. A well balanced salad crisp fritters shaped more like Kofta, with moist centers. The Aioli was Artfully swiping one side of the bowl and generously filled with the yummy Quinoa tabouleh salad. The best Vegan offering I have had to date including vegan dedicated cafes and restaurants. Well Done Treeo and sincerely Thank you for giving me multiple Vegan Options. Warm, friendly, Honest Knowledgeable and Helpful staff helped me make my choice, I enjoyed the toasty warm relaxed setting lingering as long as I could. Will be back very soon.

Excellent lunch in delightful surroundings

On a whim we decided to have a look at Sawtell and have lunch as we were driving south. TREEO sits in the beautiful tree lined Main Street. Fitout was perfect When we were given a friendly greeting and saw the happy customers we knew we’d made a good choice. This was reinforced by the coffee and food. Coffees, lattes, was excellent with good flavour and perfectly textured milk. Menu was full of temptations but we settled on the breakfast bruschetta and open prawn sandwich. Both were generous, well presented serves made with quality ingredients. Washing them down with a glass of chilled white made this a memorable lunch. Service was friendly, quick and efficient which will ensure another detour off the highway when next we drive north.

Still amazing

We dropped into Treeo Cafe for brunch on our way to QLD last week and we loved it. My wife has never been there and she was very impressed with the quality, quantity, taste and service of her meal. Thank you to all the staff there, we look forward to visiting again

Lives up to its reputation

Crispy crunchy salty slippery silky chewy sweet sour umami... the Salmon Poke Bowl might just be #mydeathbedmeal ... perfectly accompanied by a glass (or bottle, for that occasion) of their French Rose from La Vieille Ferme, Rhone Valley . My husband also rates their Works Burger. Friendly staff. Quick Monday lunch service.

Friendly staff & amazing salads

First visit here and we ordered the open prawn/avocado sandwich and a Vietnamese chicken salad and both were fresh and full of yummy flavours. We both commented on how great the meal was, as were the staff. Each of the young girls were so cheerful and helpful. Great spot for lunch.

They offer all day breakfast and lunch menus together with kids menu. The menus have a large selection of gluten free and they understand coeliacs. The coffee is excellent and the food super tasty, the staff are friendly and helpful. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available.

Superb French Toast

Tested 3 times now and among the 50 other versions I have sampled across the US and Australia, the French Toast with poached pears and raspberry mascarpone is the best. I skip the fresh raspberries because they are not my thing but the crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside bread with what tastes like real maple syrup starts the day right. Excellent coffee and friendly service, comfortable padded bench inside and no hurrying as I finish the crossword makes it a favourite cafe for me. Thank you.

Never ever disappoints. Have had brunch here many times with great results every time. Fritters are a brilliant option, smashes av or French toast is Devine. Great gf options. Coffee is fantastic.

Love the place, love the staff, love the coffee, love Sawtell. Our Group, of about 80, (ex National Servicemen,Vietnam) along with Wives, regularly visits Sawtell for a reunion every year. We have ‘always’ had a warm welcome from the staff, which is the reason we come back. Pre Covid, we had tables moved for us to accommodate the large numbers, during Covid they made us welcome, following Covid Safe Rules. Thank you.. we love you all...
