What a little champion our waiter was, wish we grabbed his name on the Friday evening we dined in. Attentive, switched on, knowledgeable and funny to boot. He was genuine and seemed to enjoy his job. What a star. The pizzas were really nice, great...quality fresh toppings and a good base. Both of the ones we got lacked a bit of spice, but we added chilli oil on the leftovers the next day and it was a winner. It was a 25km drive there for us and it was a worthwhile trip.More

Just in town for the night and we were pleasantly surprised by this small restaurant in North Nowra. They were super busy but that didn’t impact on prompt, friendly and professional service. I’ve seen lots of reviews of this place and they are on the whole pretty good, and I’m not going to add to them. Except to say, it’s a pretty good place to go. Pizzas were good and the young guy looking after us, Ryan,...was excellent. Attentive, friendly, well versed, and a little funny. Can I say, Ryan represents the current generation of young waiters, yes male and female, no pc here, who do a great job in the ‘hospo’ industry. They appear to be enjoying themselves and wanting to do a good job. They present happy and are well trained by ??? Or are they just talented? Whatever, people like Ryan need to be supported and paid well for their efforts. Let’s make sure we don’t go down the horrible USA path of not paying them properly and relying on “tips”. We had a variety of delicious pizzas. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We would definitely visit again.

Without a doubt the most accomodating restaurant in Nowra. After seeking a venue for a wake and being declined by many, we found this gorgeous hidden gem. From the 1st phone call with Jessica, speedy table service with Leticia, to finalising the event with Steve,...it all flowed smoothly. We’re a large Italian family and the food was delicious and plentiful. Flame Woodfire Pizzeria made a day of sadness that little sweeter just by the owners being so polite. I recommend this venue for your quick take away feed, dine in experience or function event, anytime. We will definitely be back. Have been here many times and everything was good, except for the last time l was there, young girl with brown hair with tied to bun on top was repeatedly touching her hair with plastic food service gloves on and then touching the food....told her...about it and then she said she was not touching food which was a lie. Why employ them when they don't give a dam about food hygiene? It's all over never again.More

Flame never disappoints! We are regular customers of flame both dine in and takeaway. Pizzas are always super fresh and full of toppings. Recently ventured out and had the best lasagne I have ever tried. Staff are always super friendly and the dining area is...so clean and modern.More

We felt like a good pizza and we decided to try Flame. Glad we did. Great choices with a difference as well as the usual. I turned up at the set time after ordering on line and they were ready to go. They were delicious.
