Had lunch there today and was so happy we decided to go there as the view was amazing then the food came out and was delicious, then the sticky date desert was so good as well, the service was second to none and that includes...the bar staff who were so friendlyMore
Top notch hidden gem! This is such a firm favourite of ours. They hosted our group of 21 on 3 occasions during our recent stay. Nothing was too much trouble and all meals were enjoyed. The good is excellent quality but we really loved both...the schnitzel and the hot rock steak nights. Some said it’s the best steak they e ever eaten! Mexican schnitzel was my personal favourite. See you again when we’re next in town. This place leaves all other local options for dead and could teach our local Sydney clubs a thing or 2!More

Just dropped in for a quick lunch in the best location around. Had the lunch specials - I had steak and my wife had fish and chips. Both quite nice, especially for the price.
The atmosphere at this location is amazing the food is mouth watering and the beverages are nice and cold. The hot rocks are definitely a must try. Enjoyed bringing the family along, sitting back taking in the natural beauty of the land scape and the...Amazing sun set, the staff are so friendly and I definitely look forward to many more outings at the Golf Club.More
What an absolute winner! We recently enjoyed 3 meals over the course of our stay in Nambucca and they were faultless! Schnitzel night, steak night and one other. Value for money, fast service, beautiful location and delicious fresh food. Excellent kids meals also. Credit to...the chefs! We can’t wait to return next time we are in the area. We were a group of 6 for a small family reunion. Location was perfect and the food was exceptional! We were all so happy with the meals and service. Thank you to the lovely young lady serving us and kindly taking some photos for us....I can personally say the ribs and the tiramisu were to die for. We went here once for lunch while at Nambucca heads. Food was good enough to be in diner not a restaurant. Fish was dry and chips were soggy. Although some other patrons from the same B and B that we stayed in reported better experience...with their dinner so perhaps different chefs or food selection made for different experience. Either way not a consistent experience to speak anything much of thus keep expectations low should you choose to go there for a meal if in Nambucca.More
Great choice for dinner, my husband and I had a lovely meal. Great view of the water, from our window seat. Very popular restaurant. We didn’t have the hot stone steak, but it seemed ver popular and the smell was divine. Would definitely go back
Dropped in for a quick lunch and sat outside on the balcony overlooking the river. Our first time at the island golf club. Ended up have a great afternoon with good food and a great band (Vallabama). Band seemed to play older style classic rock...and RNB and we really enjoyed it. My wife and I ordered entrees first before ordering main meals. Shared bruschetta and sichuan prawns for entree and very nice. My wife decided to double up on the sichuan prawns for main and I had coconut prawns. Coconut prawns ok but not as good as suchuan.More
Wonderful location overlooking the river, with an excellent menu. Have a lunchtime menu, a regular menu, and then a whole lot of blackboard specials. All meals look and taste delicious. Main meals are big, and can be bigger if you double up, say lamb shank...with ribs is a masive tasty meal. I had the lamb shank and it stopped me, it was a liitle too much for lunch. My wifes BLT was more a lunchtime size, if I could say so. Views are terrific. With the social distancing, tables are placed apart, and on the Sunday we visited, it was full. Advisable then to book ahead, as we did. Service was good and staff very polite. Lacking a little in decore, but a fine atmosphere.More
Value for money and a tasty feed. Great location on the river and looking out towards the famous Nambucca Wall walk. Go for a walk at the wall first and drive 3 minutes up the road for a feed.
The hot rock steak is to die for!! Also, can’t go past the steak sandwich for lunch - affordable and delicious. Thank you!!
