We enjoy Tom Porter's bistro better than any other in the Southern Highlands and visit for any family celebrations. The food is excellent and comes in large servings. The drinks come at a reasonable price and the service is very good - Get's busy at...the weekend - Pays to bookMore

We happened upon the bistro and had a wonderful lunch. My wife had the flathead while I had the rump steak. Both meals were excellent. Totally recommend

In these covid times, you never know quite how things will play out. Anyway, we booked a table and got one right in front of the fire. Then not long after ordering, out came our food - salt and pepper squid, and a vegie salad....Very tasty. We followed that up with the pudding. All up it was very satisfying.More

This venue never fails. Great pub food in a bistro(order at the counter) setting. It works well, and is not slow. Wines at bottle shop prices means you can enjoy a really good wine at bottlo prices. Staff are very friendly and tap beer is exceptional.

Great food here and solid vegetarian options. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is good. Perhaps a vegan option on the menu would be good.

After a draining Friday, really pleasant place to have a tasty Thai beef salad for dinner- good country pub ambience, cold beer and a roomy dining area

This has to be among the best eateries in the Highlands. No, it's not fine dining, it's just great pub food. The venue is in the Pub, so you can get icy cold draught beer to start....and finish. The menu is very good, plus specials...and the value us really good. It also has a great wine selection at bottle shop prices.More

This is (and has been) a fabulous pub and bistro for the past 25 years I have lived here. Bong Bong races attracts a huge crowd (and many keen drinkers)- must publicans in the area think it is smarter and wiser to close... More
