Skipping breakfast, we headed to Birch in Moss Vale for their "Sunday Long Lazy Lunch". The 3-course menu is set: we enjoyed a prawn entree, Beef Wellington main and a tiramisu dessert, with a Cab Sav to enhance it all. It was a most enjoyable...experience. The food was very good, cooked just right, the meat tender, everything tasty. Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We would recommend this as a delightful Sunday lunch treat, particularly for a special occasion.More

Whilst spending a long weekend in the southern highlands we took the oppotunity to visit Birch. We ate the degustation with matching wines and enjoyed the experience greatly. The variety of both food and wines, togehter with the wonderful service from Glen and Renae made...for a great evening. And as an added bonus we tasted some wines from a local vineyard which we visited the next day for a more extensive tasting. Highly recommend Birch.More

We enjoyed Sunday's long lunch. everything were good, attentive and friendly service, food with fantastic presentation, generous portion, and excellent cocktails! the only comments we had was on the lamb trio, the way the lamb was cooked was a bit dry, made the 3 different...piece tasted similar in texture. Also, the crab arancini was not as crispy as expected. That's why we would consider food quality average with reference to the price point. A lovely dining place when you're in Moss Vale.More

We had an amazing dinner at Birch in early October and can't wait to return. We were fortunate to get a booking after we waitlisted and are so glad we were able to enjoy the Birch experience. The restaurant atmosphere is welcoming as soon as...you enter and our waitress Kate was wonderful. She has an excellent wine knowledge and was also helpful with suggestions of places to visit in the area. The food is locally sourced and so fresh! Deciding what to have wasn't easy - but every course was exceptional. Our compliments to the whole team at Birch, who certainly know how to do it well.More

The food is excellent but the outstanding feature here is the service. Delightful staff made for a very pleasant evening. Thoroughly recommended
