If you like Brodburger you have to try Dulcies the burgers are delicious,  fresh & generous in size. Dulcies setting is fabulous, a feeling of sitting at home & sharing a laugh over a meal with a variety of beverages & fabulous customer service. Ate numerous times there while on holidays & is also dog friendly. Love it!

This was our fourth visit to Dulcie's - we visit each year on our annual winter break - and we are never disappointed. We love the relaxed atmosphere, the burgers and wine list are excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful, their playlist is also awesome. As a chef I really appreciate their focus on local produce and suppliers, for foodies Dulcie's is a must do in Merimbula.

We had dinner and drinks here. The venue is very cool with mainly outdoor and some indoor tables. It would be a great place for groups to catch up on the weekend or for after work drinks and a quick bite. The menu is burgers which includes a superb chicken burger as well as fish and beef burgers too. The fresh local oysters with Nuoc Cham sauce are a brilliant touch too! The cocktail menu on offer is not that extensive and quite expensive, however you could always design your own as the range of bar ingredients was extensive.

After moving to area to live wanted to try dulcies for a burger and a few drinks. 2 burgers and 2 drinks equals $67!Cans of beer are priced between $10 and $15 and burgers from the onsite food van (which are delicious)are $18 without chips or a leaf of salad. Won’t be back even though the setting is quite nice as it’s ridiculously expensive.

We loved the experience at Dulcie’s. Its a casual and cosy environment with delicious burgers and a great bar. The staff were great and the vibe pretty much said it all. The burgers are cooked in a van out the front which is really cool and considering the menu just consists of burgers & chips, we didn’t have to wait long at all. Definitely recommend.

We love the atmosphere but it is almost prohibitively expensive. We paid 80 bucks for one cocktail, one beer, two small pulled pork burgers and a handful of sweet potato fries. The food was delicious though. But did we enjoy them? Yes we did. Would we go back? Yes in fact we've been there half a dozen time since and just limited our purchases and drinks. They make an exquisite Old Fashion and a good selection of beers.

Popped in for dinner after being recommended. They were very busy, we didn't have a booking but we were welcomed. (A huge thank you to the awesome Kirsty) The burgers are awesome & of a generous size: the Dulcie burger (add some Jalapenos) is to die for and all are very reasonably priced. Great choice of beers, wine & cocktails. Even though it was busy, we didn't have to wait long. All of the staff are really laid back & friendly and the atmosphere is really great as is the play list. They have both in & outdoor tables & kids are welcome. The whole experience was so good we went back for lunch next day before heading off. Recommend ??? ABSOLUTELY. Have had burgers in a number of o'seas countries but there is daylight between Dulcies & 2nd place.

Visited during a trip in town. Quaint cottage with service out of a food truck in the front garden, with outdoor park-style seating available. Around the side bar-style long high tables, and inside regular table seating available. Unfortunately no high chair for the little one but comfortable in the standard seats. Rustic interior complements the theme and feels homely. Service honest and efficient. We went with the Dulcie burger and BBQ burger with fries to share. Burger patties generous and juicy, toppings fresh and buns hold everything well. Serve of fries generous (more than enough to share) but overly salted. Highly recommended.

We visited dulcies for a bday celebration. I booked online and asked for a highchair to be added to our table. When we arrived we were greeted politely and seated efficiently, however there was no high chair and when we asked for one we were told that they do not supply high chairs. I feel like we should have been contacted via the number we left when we booked to advise us there are no high chairs. We called around to get a table elsewhere but being the school holidays everywhere was booked out so we had to sit and eat with a 1 yr old being passed around the table. We ordered our food at 6:25pm, (according to our bank statements) no kids menu option so baby got some chips.. the team had obviously been having a rough time as there was not a single smile to be seen by one of them and they just didnt seem to pleased to be there. We did not receive our food until a bit over an hour later. We were fine with this it was super busy it happens. However we had been eating for 5 mins when a waitress came over and told us we had 20mins to eat as the table was booked for the next lot of customers coming in. We always enjoy the food at dulcies but this experience has left us not keen to visit again.

6pm Bkg seated outside toilets 😱 we have 2hrs. requested 2x skinny spicy Margherita rec’d 2 x sugar syrupy margaritas. The bar ordering for drinks & food is chaotic! There is an order & pay on the table that takes a while to fill in information, but then tells you everything you want is ‘Sold Out’? It’s not rocket science it’s a hamburger food truck doing its damndest in a 85+ seat restaurant. We receive our oysters/burgers together @7.15 @ 7.25 the hostess with her ipad informs us that our table is booked for 7.30 we need to move out‼️ what a sham‼️ mind you the food truck delivering burgers was Excellent. Floorstaff = -1 & overwhelmed! If you like chaos you will love this place!

This local hangout is definitely hard to find. It's hidden away behind a white picket fence with a very small marker for it's address. (see my picture). When we were there a baby shower was going on and when that broke up a few local groups would filter in keeping the outdoor seating area full and lively. The burgers were fantastic. Hot and juicy with lots of meat and cheese on a toasted bun. The real star was the fries. Thin, very crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Best I ever had!

I love this place, been here many times over the years - but to stand up at the bar to order a drink and discover that I am invisible is not nice. I had to interrupt the waitress to ask where my booked table is. Since the majority of clients here tonight are probably my age group maybe the young lady needs to be aware of those that can afford your drinks I am sure the chips and burger will be up to it’s normal good standard. And it is a beautiful evening in beautiful merimbula

So I want to start by saying that they did try to address most of my issues. I ordered the fish burger, and hubby had the Dulcie's burger. His was fine to good - but I had serious orderer's remorse. The fish on my burger was totally, and I do mean totally, inedible. It was as tough as a piece of rubber, pretty much cold right through, and had an unpleasant burnt taste. I had also ordered a side of fries and these were limp and also barely lukewarm when served. I took one bite of burger, ate 2 mouthfuls of chips, and then left the rest. As this cost $34 ($24 for burger and $10 for "a lot of chips" - which was actually a very small serve), I was really, really unimpressed. It was a busy night and although I got up and looked, I did not find any waitstaff to talk to about this before hubby finished his meal. This made sense of the sign I had noticed on arrival at the kitchen van that read "don't talk to the chefs about any issues with your meals, we are busy. Talk to the waitstaff." We were not approached by any waitstaff until my hubby had finished his meal. I had left most of mine untouched, although I did eat the top of the bun with a slice of tomato, some lettuce and a nice dressing. When the waitstaff cleared the table, she asked if it wasn't good, so I told her that no, it was not good. She did offer me a free drink (I don't drink alcohol) or a bowl of chicken wings (which I don't like), but by then we were ready to go. As you have to pre-pay for your food, we had already been charged and there was no offer of any refund. Additionally, the "background music" here was so loud, it was very hard to have any kind of conversation over the meal. Overall, the place looked nice, and my hubby's meal was fine, so I guess I just got the short straw, but it was truly dreadful. I'm not sure I would go back. But if I did, I would NOT order the fish burger again.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and an early supper. Good range of beer and amazing range of sprits. Good service, great food, nice deck views. It was a little on the high side $ wise but in small community, in a covid world I can’t knock that. They are open late and the great range of drinks surely costs to have in-stock. A definite go again for us……

This place is worth visiting just for the ambience! With fairy lights strung around generously, and the fantastic little food van set up in the courtyard, dispensing burgers and fries from a focused menu, to the very cool cocktails on offer, this is a slightly out-of-the-ordinary experience. Although we had no reservation we were greeted in a friendly way and offered a table for a limited time, which worked well for us. The cocktails were nice, though a bit heavy on the pricing. We’d already eaten but I just know I’d love to sample those burgers next time – they looked great. And the music was just my thing – track after track that made me say, “Oh, I love this song!”
