We had dinner here with three other couples on a wet Saturday evening. We had asked for an outside table, but they had the presence of mind to also have a table inside should we have changed our mind due to the weather - which we had. The staff were most welcoming and explained how the Tapas style menu worked. In the end we simply asked them to provide a dinner they thought was appropriate for us, bearing in mind there was a vegetarian included. This they did with ease. The food appeared in perfect quantity and at sensible intervals. It was delicious. The ambience of the restaurant isn't bad, with an abundance of sandstone. It is a bit dark - we had to resort to reading the menu using torches on our mobile phones. The staff were more than happy to reduce the volume of the music for us too. All in all, a great place to dine with friends. When the bill was presented, I was pleasantly surprised at the amount due.

Small plates were delicious, but be aware of selecting the Fish & Chips.
They have a very small selection, so we opted for Beef Cheeks, but unfortunately they had run out. This was on a Saturday for lunch, a bit strange. So we then picked the fish & chips. We were told it was flathead.
Finally came out and we got 3 skinny pieces of fish and a bowl of what looked like Mcdonalds fries. When we went to pay, we discovered that they don't take CASH. No signs telling you anything different, Luckily we had a card. What would they have done if we only had Cash?
I mentioned the state of the Chips to the waitress and was told that the Chef cut them himself. Can't believe it though.!!

Lacked many items, wine list was other than noted
1 and only desert
No mineral water

We had eaten here previously and enjoyed the experience, so we were very disappointed to see that it is not the same restaurant now. We had a reservation for 7pm on Saturday 6/7. We arrived just before the hour. There were only 2 other tables occupied, one being a family of 4 who had just finished dinner and another couple, so VERY QUIET.
We ordered a bottle of Pinot noir, only to be told they had none of the 4 on the menu, only a Shiraz. We ordered steaks and two sides. 50 minutes later our steaks arrived and they were cold. Their excuse was “they only had one chef”, but with only 4 couples in the restaurant by that point, service should not have taken this long. They offered to recook the steaks, however we decided to pay for the wine and go over to the Friendly Inn.
The menu is very limited due to the lack of diners, the staff were polite but clearly lacking experience and the service was very poor.
We will not be returning here again!

Well we spoke to reception when we checked in to booked the restaurant we said that we will be dining in, we came to the restaurant at 7.15 pm , there was 4 tables empty and we were denied by a rude waitress . She said that they were fully booked , we said that we booked and she turned around and walked of.
Prior to that we mentioned that we were staying in the hotel and could you do roon service and they ssid no.
We would NOT be coming back !!!
We recommend not to visit this restaurant!!!

Restaurant had just re-opened after reno. Tapas style food now on offer & everything our table of 5 ordered was devoured. Reasonably priced (compared to Sydney).
